Operation Ashes of Phoenix

The Operation Ashes of Phoenix is an Alliance rp/pvp military campaign, to reinforce the Alliance strongholds and to start a new front at Kalimdor, in the ongoing Blood War with the Horde.

In character situation in game:

Conscription of soldiers has been started withing the Kingdom of Stormwind. It's purpose is to gather forces to reinforce the forts at Kalimdor, mainly: Northwatch Hold, Ruins of Theramore and Fort Triumph, and to re-establish connection to Honor's Stand.

Following the successful reinforcement of Alliance strongholds at Kalimdor, the mission towards new objectives on Kalimdor can commence, to bring the Blood War to the Horde capital's doorsteps and further into the lands lost by the Alliance when Teldrassil was burned down.

OOC:

A long lasting campaign, that will focus on Kalimdor areas in the conflict between Horde and Alliance. No end time set, since campaign will continue as long as it lasts, with possibly weekly or more events taking place beginning from the conscription of units or gaining support from already established units, to setting sail to Ruins of Theramore and onward to the Alliance strongholds. Re-establishing Alliance presence at Kalimdor, and making Horde to focus its forces less in the ongoing war at Lordaeron.

Terms for rp/pvp:

-To be always in character when possible.

-Personally preferring unrestricted rp/pvp with some organizing of numbers and to take rounds, yet new ideas can be used to see what works the best for each event with rp/pvp.

-Events with rp/pvp, do make a difference on the campaign, if you don't win and get your objective completed, you have to try another way around or gather forces to try again, or some completely different approach.

-There is no script, that is followed by both factions, but the campaign works its way out, what ever actions anyone takes in the campaign that have a change for events.

-There has to be some adjusting of events with both factions, so sometimes things have to be settled ooc to make the campaign more fluent and entertaining, to not use methods that make the campaign less functioning. For example ooc knowledge from plans can't be "always" used by the opponent, to prevent the actions of either faction in the campaign (metagaming).

-As such, this is a free-form campaign, with a very broad organizing meant for anyone who wants to take part to be part.

-Events should be announced in the in game Community and the Argent Dawn realm forum thread, but can be also prepared without announcement and to use more direct methods for guilds and individuals.

On this Saturday 24th of November, 20:30 (st), there is a meeting with Lordaeron people at Menethil Keep, rumour is there are people willing to join on the campaign at Kalimdor.

On Wednesday 28th of November 20:30 (st) an Alliance force is set to land on the Ruins of Theramore. There is rp and planing the future strategy to take place.

The campaign mainly works within the “Operation Ashes of Phoenix Community” community (link id in above post).
