Or will you fail your Ancestors, by letting their home lay in ruins, when they fought, teeth to teeth, with the Horde to keep Strom in a hospitable state? Now as they lie dead, slain by the fires and the claws of the Great Black Dragon, Deathwing. Will you let their actions die with them?

No. Like Suxen, you're selfless. You are courageous. You are strong. You are Arathorian.

The fifth tenet, states clearly, that cowardice is considered an act of treason. Fleeing due to cowardice in War is a -SIN- to Suxen, it is within the deeds of Phelgas the Uncaring. Do not dishonour yourselves and damn yourself to the Void, by refusing to protect your land and people, fellow Arathorian. Every action makes a difference.

So by the blood that runs through your veins, my Brothers, my Sisters. I emplore you to return to your home. To your Crown. To your heritage. Earn your place in the Halls with your Ancestors.

Ah, if only I had room to make an Arathorian. However, I wish you guys the best of luck. And if room on my char list does decide to crop up, I'm poking one of you.

Best of luck to you guys, I missed out on all the Arathorian RP (and the drama ) but have heard so many good things about it. Hope I don't miss out this time around!

I've one nagging question that I'd love to have answered, why aren't you using <The Kingdom of Arathor>? :O

What's the current Arathi Highlands' situation lore-wise? I haven't done any quests there yet.

@Jomir, Nygarth was the Orin but during conclusive RP. His much older and wiser Uncle took the role, not to mention Orthur, the Elder Thorgint, taught Nygarth all he knows anyhow.

@Gene. Through much discussion we decided that a rename would not only make sense, I believe it's a more accurate and apt name, but also add that feeling of renewal.

@Zinkle, frankly nothing has changed Alliance side which makes no sense. We've heard that Metzen said he isn't done with zones like Arathi and Dustwallow and will be patching things in, in due time. We wait to see what they have in store for us be it bad, or good, we're aiming to follow the lore more
strictly than before.

Oh and, this is an event by the way. One of many to come that will relaunch the guild in full. People that wish to play Arathorians are of course our main target, but even other humans. I believe what is meant is that if Danath returns, we will work round it, and keep him in his lore given post. As well as what happens to the land. We shant rp that Stromgarde is rebuilt if it isn't etc..

The Monarchy, in itself will follow any new Lore given. Bend over if Danath returns, for example, but it won't miraculously fall until then. It's a matter of character history and realmlore.

The Religion, again a matter of character history/ realmlore. Furthermore, religion is the place with room for imagination. It's not forced upon anyone, bar my rambles, and is based on the Light/ Shadow regardless. It's open to interpretation.

We're going to follow the main lore bumps for Arathorian uh.. reality? Following the Blizzard lore of the looks of our ruined home. But we're keeping our pretty amazing fan-created religion and culture like quite a few guilds do. Because that's actually the main reason we get members, liking our unique gameplay. Although we intend to keep it mostly to ourselves as usual. With the exception of the first few weeks when we start off in Stormwind to later move back to our ruins.

The monarchy will be kept for now in wait of what will happen though. I personally hope Danath will return as King, in which case we'd adapt accordingly. Sadly we don't know whether he will, or when he will return yet :S Rest assure the moment we know we will begin working to adapt to it.

No, the Ancestors are more of a philosophy than a true religion. Treat it like the Anglican church in a sense, it excists and dictates traditions of state and monarch but we also have freedom of religion. Worship as you see fit as long as you do so with an axe in an orc's head.

It's old, slighty forgotten and by all means any Arathorian can disregard it.

But like the Chapter of the Holy Anethion, the fan religion aspect, may be something you'd like to learn or play with.

What Anaei said. We've had several Arathorians that believe strictly in Light religion. The Ancestral one is merely a form of old Arathorian philosophy that is, or was, mostly forgotten. Some believe in both Light and Ancestral religion, and others only in Ancestral. It's really up to the player how far he/she want to indulge themselves into the fan-made culture.
