Structural Community Events Empty Structural Community Events

As was spoken about tonight, regarding a set of various community intentions to spark some activity, I would like to present a clearer picture of what it was we aimed to "Eventually" create, and how it would work.

Please keep in mind, this is from our calendar and as such uses our terms, but these events in the Horde Community will be titled as appropriate to their leaders (Organizers)

One such example being "Arcane Conclave" being hosted by Ashal Anore (Dolerien) which is titled "Root Studies" for us

Now we have already reorganized the Great Gathering dates to accommodate the future plans, and the first event we would like to see supported and become a reoccurring one, is the Arcane Conclave.

After the next gathering, we will be looking to begin supporting a monthly RP-PvP themed one (Oaken Axe named for us) and hope to see people either willing to lead, or just support us in that.

Please post your thoughts, like or dislike of the intentions and let's see about getting a more proactive community taking shape once more for the Horde

Red Reach Raiders are 'pretty sure' to be involved in creation of the RP-PvP themed one. That's kinda our home turf, trying to drive our guild forwards as a RP-PvP one specifically.

I'll have to see how my work schedule pans out though and see if I can have someone else being there to host if it shit happens and get crap workshifts just for that day.

Nothing against more co-operation with the Horde in general. I've kept RRR raids open for anyone to join most of the time for same reasons. The more guilds mix up, the bigger party we're having.

I have nothing to comment about the suggested dates. It's to early for me to say whether the one for RP-PvP would be a good day in where it is.

Anything that promotes RP in general I think is a good thing.

Have spoken with Vardrek regarding the Oaken Axe idea and having Cogshield as a re-occurring defender against these raids, though there is lots of checking and planning to do before hand, both IC and OOC, it's a start

To explain a little about the intention behind each event types;

Arcane Conclave (Root Studies); Caster Themed
"Pending" (Oaken Axe); Martial Themed
"Pending" (Leaf Market); Trade themed
"Pending" (Branch Menders); Healer themed

The goal is to provide the RP'ers of the Horde with at least ONE event that suits their character in the cycle, and to fuel the Great Gathering and increase it's importance as it becomes responsible for these functions, this in turn, will hopefully give rise to a political climate in the Horde and see a return of that brand of RP, all be it with a more Savage interpretation.
