Interest check a Demon-Hunter themed "collaboration-created" guild.

Hello Defias-RP community. Below, I have quoted my original post at WoW official forums about a possible guild around Demon Hunter class and lore. As you can see in the title I have included that it is an "collaboration-created" guild idea and I believe I have explained why I included that title in my most below. Hello all, I'm a 23 year old PVP player. I have been playing wow since the early MoP expansion and I have been in some RP guilds in the past. Role playing has been a different experience for me and I'm glad to have got into it. Now, with this thread I want to share my idea of a possible guild with you.

I have a RP-PVP guild idea for upcoming Legion expansion. Demon Hunters are going to be the next playable class and It has a rich loretelling at it's core. I want to create a guild themed around Demon Hunter class and it's lore. I have some ideas about the guild's history and its vision but what I want is to create a collaboration among members to determine each component of the guild, such as its vision, history and even it's name. I believe this way we can create a well established guild for RP-PVP events, battlegrounds, arenas and world pvp.

If the description above interests you,please let me know it in this thread. I'll be constantly checking here and If we can gather some dedicated people around, we'll get in contact with each other so that preperations for the birth of Illidan Stormrage's followers can begin.

As for the thread itself, while I wish you best of luck with the project, it may be a little bit to early for it.

Generally when the class is 'released' (read: playable), hundreds of players will flock under it. During that time, launching a Class-specific guild will be a breeze, as many players will roll one just to try it out.

Trying to actually create one before the class is released is a bit tricky though. The people whose interest you might have gathered may end up going into other things, since they can not go and play the class just yet. The point Legion hits and they can, they may have already forgot about it or got other things to their mind.

Then again, this is merely my opinion. As by before, I wish you the best of luck with your Demon Hunter collaboration guild. I do not intend to play one myself, so I will stay outside of this project though.

And a big thank you for your opinions. I know its early but what I want is to gather more people more ideas and then start to apply those ideas such as creating a forum. All of those would take a considerable enough time so I didn't want to wait for release. But what you say is also true and a critical point to keep in mind. If I dont get enough people and interest here I will be giving it a shot after Legion is released.

And again thank you for your opinions and wishes.

The Illidan novel that comes out in april is gonna hold a lot of demon hunter stuff, probably a must get of enthusiasts for demon hunters. Either way you got plenty of time, i'm just hopping I get into the beta and check out what they are about.
