Depends on whether it's sudden or not. If they actually start a fight and Raenmar has a chance to fight back I'll respond as if they've 'attempted' to attack, because he is a good fighter.

If they just come out of nowhere and emote fucking him up, I'll just roll with it as long as it wouldn't be fatal or cause any permanent damage.

Either way I'd speak to them about it and just advise them to avoid it in future.

I think that throughout time, I've managed to go through all four. Depends on the situation and my mood I guess

I only emote duel with people I know and trust. There's no choice out of the four listed above; I simply won't emote duel anyone I don't fully trust.

After encountering so, so many godmoters in my time and having no patience for their madness I had to put my foot down and decide never to bother again.

Emote duels when done right are things of joy and wonder, hence I'll only emote fight friends!

Roll with it everytime. Ignoring the person just creates a sense of Roleplay elitism and circlejerking. Fuck that. It is much better to try and teach somebody how to RP properly than to just shove them to one side and say "Haha sure.. go do what you're doing over there." Creates less hate for the RP community and inspires people who are new to want to RP more. We all started somewhere why be a cunt when you used to be in that similar position too. (Apart from those of you who were born amazing Rpers. I'm sure there's some of you out there)

Is started tabletop D&D at a very young age (family of geeks). So I knew the basiscs of RP when I started WoW. But oh Light I made so many stupid lore mistakes that its embarrassing to say.

I don't ignore godemoters. I normally just let them know that its not alright to do, and I emote as if their emote had been a try instead, while whispering them as politely as I can, to teach them how to do 'tries'.

Some people are very happy to learn, while others tell you to fuck off. Those who tell me to fuck off, I ignore.

I might be trying out Pathfinder in a group one of my best friends play with soon. Really unsure what to think of it.

When there's an RP set I'm making and I have a decent amount of gold. I'll pay anything to get a specific item even if it's not worth that much. Basically. What i'm trying to say is. I will even let Arabella rip me the fuck off.

Alright, so here is one from me. One that might shock my fellow Chap... Anethioneans.

For a year I had black mageweave pants underneath the robes.

To be fair that's basically like undies + a robe, most people probably don't put trousers under them unless they're raiding.

Are people still bothered about mageweave nowadays?

I guess I should confess that despite RPing a druid for 5 years I know absolutely nothing about them and that's why Raenmar always has been and always will be really shit.

He still was slightly more capable than Dwyburn out in field if memory serves correctly.

Not saying everyone didn't get filled with bullets even so, though.

Edit instead of double-post:
1. I spend ridiculous amounts of time on transmog sets for RP, but rarely RP in them.
2. I've in the past based entire characters on ooc titles.
3. I currently can't decide whether I want to try out character concepts for a dragon... and a self-proclaimed god.

I'm guilty of this, as you know Bella. Then again I've played Senariul for years on Horde side and circumstances have forced him away from them. He's not Alliance, but he's definetly not Horde. Still hot though.

I find myself having to make my characters fight with each other even if they're good friends to avoid seeming crazy. Aelrath and Senariul loved each other, but needed to fight if they were together. This especially strikes true with me, even if I hate doing it. Raene in her Elven form is built for speed, but I feel like a dick if I swerve out of the way of a single punch so I make her take any and all physical hits. But I still keep the nerf of her speed in trade of strength and make her hits super weak, which then usually backfires when either the hit does nothing, or it's dodged in return to 'prove a point' to me that they can dodge too.

Not much of a direct RP confession, but I find myself interacting with a bunch of RPers who I then want to do more with and hopefully become friends with to open up for more / better RP (It's always cooler with friends ) and generally go about adding them on btag and all, which then bloats my list up with people, where as I can at best actively shuffle getting to know 2-4 people at once, and then end up neglecting the others.

Not gonna lie Raene, I want completely blown away by your character when we played the other day. In regards to your character, I fully retract my statement. Your background was interesting and made perfect and plausible sense. I was all like :') Ooc

In regards to this i have a weird thing where I won't add someone on bnet if they ask me. I will always politely decline them (even if I really want them). It has to be me to ask them. (Heck, I actually did this to Ferbian when we first became friends, and I still feel bad about it).

It might be because I've not slept and I'm super emotional right now, but I'm smiling ear to ear from hearing that. <3

I do have another confession seeing as Senariul's on my mind again...

I tend to want to kill off characters I don't want to RP anymore, but refuse to kill them off unless they're meaningful for someones storyline.

Senariuls died too many times for me to even recall now as some evil villain that's been troubling people. The depths he's using to stay alive these days are practically in the realms of lichdom. Actually, no. I'm pretty sure they're lich techniques.

But even after I think I'm done with him, and I've closed that chapter... I keep wanting to go back to him.

Raene was meant to die as a meaningful story for a lot of people, but it never achieved the impact that I was happy with and so she's going through some kind of 'thing' now so that I can put her to rest properly in a way that's more satisfying.

Of course Senariuls involved somehow.

Even Rinuul who I haven't played properly in at least a year is on my mind. I want to sacrifice him and his Draenor counterpart in a dual-sacrifice if only to give Nihilia some horrible character development/depression.

I adored Yavari so much that last night I deleted another character and created a new Draenei priest, and even payed for a level boost on it. I've no regrets yet...
But I will soon when it sinks in all the people I want to rp it with are stranded and isolated with no ic method of hunting for them (and I despise scrying. It's such a lame/meta gaming thing to do).

Yavari has all my love. Ever since the Barrens all the way up to now, Yavari has been a consistent provider of top notch RP ever since I've met them, and I love RPing with them.
