Sometimes I make my character dodge every punch. But I'm not gonna lie, with his experience in fighting he would do that. The only problem is that people hate you for it.
That's why my newest character is shit with melee.

I don't want to emote fight with people I don't know/like well enough to trust them to not be selfish about it, so I make my characters really good at fighting (my last RP toon is basically Superman without the flight, and I frequently satirise him in emotes by refferencing how ridiculously super-human he is). My experience is that if people hate you for god emoting and so on, they're less inclined to start an emote fight with you. Works pretty well.

I have no idea if I am god emoting or being reasonable in combat with Glac. A lot of experience merits being good or brilliant in battle, but the point where he's too good is blurred for me qq.

Usually I tend to take as many hits as possible and make fights fair, but it's annoying when the opponent constantly godemotes, which makes me want to dodge more myself.

I once tried to rugby tackle a guy (My guy by the way was once a pitfighter), but the guy just stood there. The tackle apparently didn't make he budge a BIT. Now that is the definition of bad.

I generally hate characters who dodges every punch and spell. Gets annoying to the point where I go "Fuck this" and leave the rp because I can't be arsed sitting for hours emoting to people who reply with * /e dodges to the left* on every reply.

I like to just go down on the first hit when it comes to emote-fights, then go afk while my char is passed out

Sometimes when I've been horrid ooc but I think it's way past the point to apologise, incase people don't believe it's genuine. I decide to act more horribly instead of compensate.
How it compensates, I don't know. But it happens.

To be honest, I pplay my three main RP chars one a range from "pretty weak" to "super weak".

My rogue Helmut isn't a good fighter and that gives me more reason to play him as a surviver type of guy with a stealth device up his ass. If trouble happends will he try to hide behind allies, go for a cheap blow and the dissapear or run away.

Saxel, my goblin priest, has no fighting or offensive abilities at all. He is a healer and protective spells kind of guy.

My brave gnome warrior Tran thinks that he is a paladin and rushes into battle only to be smacked out of battle the next second.

I remember when you and the Knights of Lordaeron, back when they transferred here, tried to help me fight that Forsaken raid into the Highlands. And in the end left Tregan to fight on his own in Refuge Point. Can't still make up my mind if he died in the raid, or was one of the survivors after the Forsaken were pushed out.

Helmuts survival and wellbeing is always the highest priority *nod nod* If things look grim you have to rely on others holding the enemy at bay while he escapes.

Not an RP confession but a PvP confession: I PvP with Helmut like I RP him. Stealth, go in for a kill when the enemy is at low health and sure to die and if its surviving, vanish and run away.

Bella is pretty much always injured because I let everything hit her, despite her training.
I do this to avoid drama, but it is irritating always being on the reserve bench

People are never happy. If you let your char lose too often, you get accused for loving the attention of being wounded, and if you .don't- let your char get wounded all the time, you get accused of being OP. People can't make up their mind!

So I go a middle ground. You get close to my char and strike, he'll go down.

When a person brand new to rp decides to attack you, and it's done in a unintentionally god emote way, do you:

A) Role with it,
B) Role with it, but whisper them about rp conventions,
C) Pretend it didn't happen,
D) Pretend it didn't happen, but whisper them about rp conventions.

(Yes I know this isn't a confession. But it's on topic to the current conversation, and the only thing I've banned is actively having a go at other players).

I think I'd point out it's a godmod and only roll with it if I felt like it. "Sorry I'm not feeling up to fight Rp atm" works.

I don't really understand the people that go "oh so and so is awful" as it's happening without trying to pull out. If the other person knew it was a chore for you 9/10 times they'd stop.

Last time it happened to me, I was having a rather enjoyable IC conversation with Lavian, when this guy ran past pressing "enter" on a readied emote while doing so without allowing me any say in anything. I didn't feel like bleeding out in the streets instead of continuing what I was at, so my character unknowing of the attack tied his shoelaces or something to dodge it.

Before that? My guard character was basicly next to bludgeoned to death by multiple hostiles in the middle of the Command Center.

So A and C, I guess.

I normally whisper them, and explain that I do not accept Godemotes. If its apparent they are new, I try to teach them what a godemote is, and how to emote properly.
