This notice has made its way around the Mage Quarter and the Keep.

On Monday, the twentieth of the month, at nine O' clock at night shall be held the first Ministry of Magic open session. This is to be the first of many, to be held fortnightly at the Stormwind Royal Library. All are welcome, be you a layman or a magus. The purpose of the open sessions is to provide a public forum through which any may voice concerns or suggestions with regard to the rulings of the Ministry of Magic and the operations of the Stormwind Mage Tower and other affiliates.

In certain matters of public interest, all in attendance of any background are permitted a vote in the decision-making process. Other decisions shall be voted upon by the chosen representative advisors. Interested persons may still apply to be an advisor for the Ministry, and are urged to attend the forthcoming open sessions.

The agenda for the first session follows, with all subjects in which the public may vote marked with a star:

  • The proposed creation of a registry of magi ✩
  • The proposed hosting of a frequent Mage Fayre ✩
  • Discussion on academic progress
  • The impacts of Chronomancy and necessary precautions

Won't be able to represent a -small- part of the church due to work, doubt Beladon will be able to either, unless his computer decides to play nice, so you may get your wish to steal Terenus from Evelynn.

Sorry for being so absent since this first meeting. The flu had me down for the count.

With regards to the outcome of the first meeting:

  • The arcane registry failed
  • The Mage Fayre passed
  • Academic reforms were passed (new academic research grants, new apprentices union group)
  • Chronomancy discussion ironically postponed due to time constraints

Now that I'm back in action I'll see about getting the new things up and running as quick as possible. Watch this space!

As for the next meeting, the 3rd of November.
