What?
Archmage Serentyne, Minister of Magic, will be holding a lecture on the usage of Abjuration and methods of self defense for the benefit of magic-using and non-magic using members of the Alliance.

Lesson Plan:

  • An Introduction to Abjuration, the school of defensive magic.
  • How to cast and implement an armour spell for everyday use.
  • The logistics of manifesting and maintaining a mana barrier.
  • What the Fuck are Wards?
  • How to properly disarm a caster.
  • How to protect yourself against the various magical armaments available to casters.
  • I'm not a mage, but I want to know more about magic. What resources are available to me?


Where?
The lesson will be conducted on the uppermost floor of Azora's tower to the East of Goldshire.

When?
On the twenty third day of the second month of Summer at precisely seven o'clock in the evening. Participants are expected to arrive at seven. The lesson will begin at half past the hour to allow for latecomers. Individuals who are unable to make it on time are still welcomed to participate but must arrive and take their place quietly, and discreetly to avoid disturbing the lecture.
