There is a player named Jballer who has been following RPers around and streaming their RP to the amusement and hilarity of his friends. He puts it up on the web for anyone to see and followed their every move. Please put this guy on your lists and keep an eye out for him, or otherwise you will end up being streamed and ridiculed for RPing, without your permission.

I'm not embarrassed by roleplay. If people find amusement in me roleplaying, considering it "nerdy, geeky or stupid" - They are sitting at a computer, watching someone else play a video game.

Aye I'm not too concerned either. I'm having quite a bit of fun with the stuff I'm doing, I'd be flattered if others took notice to it enough to bother filming it, whether for mockery or not.

Meh. Not bothered by that either. Hell if everybody went around recording RP'ers, it would be great. We'd be able to have even more fun by watching VoD's, get updated on an event or story we missed or, why not, even grab the footage, add ambient music and do voice overs. xD

If they wanna film me they can. I am guessing they think its embarrassing?
How they choose to spend their time is no concern of mine, not bothered by it.
I can see how people might be concerned about being filmed without permission though. Not sure what the WoW realm rules or laws are about that if there are even any for online avatars?  Either way...

To be completely fair, isn't RP at it's core to be enjoyed? If more people can enjoy your RP how's that a bad thing? Share the fun. If you actually notice him, you can start deliberately make really awkward RP just to take the piss out of the crowd.

Make it a Fun experience.

I've no problem if people record Thorn rp but I can imagine the ERP'rs are less enthralled at their antics being broadcast tho Wink

It is rather disconcerting to find a couple of people from well known, and what you thought reputable, rp guilds standing in the nude in a house in the middle of a hunt through Elwynn. Thank goodness the emotes were unintelligible for Horde.

Well, that might be better than swiming in the water of tanaris right under the flightpath!
