Tree of remembrance - tues 16/9
Tree of Remembrance
At the centre of our small Kaldorei embassy in Stormwind grows a tree. Young to our eyes, but no less precious for it. Before the fire that tore through the Embassy a year ago many trinkets and mementos hung from the branches, twisting in the breeze. Everything from precious pearls from the coast of Darkshore to Wildkin feathers all the way from Winterspring.
Memories of home, of our loved ones, of those we have lost, of our hopes for the future. All now long gone with the fire.
Any Kaldorei of any Order living or visiting Stormwind is welcome to stop by to visit the tree and place an offering. Should an ally of a different race wish to honour a Kaldorei friend, they too will be welcome.
No service or grand speeches, just a simple open house session of RP. Stop by the Embassy (the small walled garden next to the transmog shop in the cathedral square) in your own time and pay some respect to the homeland and to the fallen.
This coming Tuesday night from 8 bells onwards, bring your memento and your words. Say them aloud or whisper them privately. Anyone with a nelf connection welcome

Thank you to everyone that stopped by the event itself was relatively short, sweet and low-key (just as I had hoped) and it was marvellous to see non-elves leaving offerings too.
Best bit was meeting the dwarves, hitting the tavern with them after and throwing down an IC gauntlet for a couple of future racial crossover events <3

Yes, thanks for the event! It was very nice
The tavern afterwards was great fun, too, and I'm looking forward to continue the planning of the future events.
