DK's have been around since the third war(obviously) and were slain and converted into DK's, so no surviving and living stuff there. Thassarian was slain and converted, Koltira was slain and converted, Falric was slain and converted among some others. They too took part in the scourge onslaught alongside Arthas and his armies (As well as Lavian, but we're talking official lore here). So yeah, death knights minus Arthas still had a hand in the desecration in the third war.
