Riders of Acherus

After weeks of wondering if I should try it I have decided to make a dk only Rp-pvp guild. This has been tried countless times before but due to lack of dk lore in the current expansion they have not lasted long. After sitting in the EMPTY ebon hold last night and speaking to GMs about this I have decided to call upon dk rp's who would be interested to message me in game to hear what ideas I have on how to make this work. If there is enough interest in a week or two I will post the recruitment thread but for now I would like to get a general idea who out there would give it a go. What I will say is the Riders of Acherus will not be staying in Acherus to rp like guilds of the past (put obv it will be our headquarters for war councils and meetings). You will be free to rp where ever you can due to the fact that after the fall of the lich king you are free and there for can go where you please or even where you where based before death. We will fight alongside the Alliance in W-pvp campaigns to show that even in death we are willing to help our old comrades in life succeed in the wars the wage today.

So if you are interested talk to me in game or post something below just so I can start piecing things together and hopefully we can make a steady guild for dk's on the alliance.

I too approve of this. If you want some ties with the rest of the military just talk with my gnome Helmut and he'll happilly see to it that you ate invited to future battles.

Ah an alliance based RP DK guild? Well as a resident DK RP'er. I am all up for seeing this go around again, considering can we please avoid the "I'm going to kill you and your children for that stare you just gave me" stereotyping.

Thanks for the replies so far. I can promise you now Riders of Acherus is NOT and will NOT be a group of death knights who hate everything and look to kill everyone. Anyone who understands Dk lore would know that after the fall of the lich king they no longer seek revenge but a purpose so would work along side their faction not against it.

I love you already. I won't be joining the guild as Lavian/Clara already is with a military unit, but I will certainly look forward to interracting with you and the rest. I have been in dire wanting to associate with more DK's in RP. We're a rare breed blergh!

finally some Death Knight RP worthy of the name, before I got into my Academy concept, I actually considered making something like this myself in the back of my head, best of luck, guys.

Thanks for the support guys, as people have mentioned the potential is great but....finding a few active members is key. I'm not looking for 200+ death knights (even tho popping army of the dead together would be the greatest thing I've ever seen) but people active enough to get the guild name seen and FINALLY have a steady base to build on. I won't be online untill 23.00 realm time due to work but feel free to mail me on here or in game with questions and over the next few weeks I will try my best to get this guild up and running.

I might be interested with an alt, new stable guilds with a godo concept are always good.

Last I heard this was put down for now, due to lack of ingame interest. Might be someone else who is willing to try instead out there?

That's a dreadful shame, I would have loved to have met some honest-to-god death knights from the acherus.

Trouble is what the server wants of Death knights is not Ebons or Death Knights. They want either evil cannon fodder or pets.

I know Allonia says that the project died out, but yeah...
My death knight is pretty much on ice anyway (no pun intended) so just making sure that you got at least 1 person here interested.
Hopefully others have an on-going interest in this project.

server = DB community. I'm sure you knew that but yes, my argument is that the server players wish for nice DKs who they can kill or befriend.  

To make my point clearer, I do not think skynet controls DB.  Who knows, maybe you made that pedantic point to try and undermine the issue rather than debating with it, normally a clear sign of intellectual bankruptcy but then again it is the internet.

I pop on DB on my DK sometimes so would not mind RPing with any DKs casually.

Gave up on DK rp some time ago, sady. The death knight lore is cool, but it's really hard making fulfilling RP when your character has such a limited register of emotions to play on.
