As for speculation:

Ogres.

My body is ready.

I am honestly thrilled for literally anything. Even if the next Xpac features a super villain enclave of Deathwing, Onyxia, Kael'thas and Garrosh, I'll be loving every second of it.

Skeptical about them coming in or their lore?

Because if it's the former, I'm in the same boat. I want to get excited, but I have a fear that they won't do anything we want. I always get the impression that Blizzard is a little stubborn about putting the obvious fan favourite in. It's like they want to constantly shock people.

I'm skeptical about ogres because of two reasons, both mostly visual:
- Ogre females. Delicate design work, not sure if a compromise can be reached that will satisfy both the creators and the fans.
- Chubby race. Having a unique silhouette is very important to the design of a new race, and the Pandaren have already called dibs on the Ogres' primary shape.

But then again, they are one of the few classic blizzard designs from ye olden times that's not in the game yet.

This is sadly true. There is not a single race that does not at least have the option to make the females attractive. Even the Forsaken lady of cutesy faces.

It would be hilarious to see a female ogre that just looks like a male ogre but wears a bra.

I predict there'll be no new race this expansion, rather than that I imagine they'll focus on the new character models for the existing races.

Didn't they recently say that the character models were only 25% done and that was after a long period of work? I doubt we're looking at them any time soon.

See, I personally think this si just flawed logic.
There might be some elements of the population that "Demands" that the females be sexy. But on that factor the same elements want the males to be "Power fantasies" of some nature. So then male ogres don't work since they're just big fat blobs.
If they are forced to sexualize the female ogre for it to work it'll be a fucking travesty of sexism that'll just be sickening. And the commonity will be the (excused) cause.
Even female dwarfs have fans and you can't really call them sexualized. So it's not needed for it to be sexy. Make them appealing in some other way (like, cute faces (Hellow blue eyed orc female)) and you can placate the sexistic assholes who need females to be pretty.
