Orc poetry
(Since Morgeth can't write poetry very well, these are no masterpieces. Obviously if I had a character that could, it would blow your mind! Eh, yes. Anyway, I scribbled these down to stories that I posted on the Red Blade forums, and I figured I might as well make a fool of myself here as well.)
Warrior's lament
I have been forged
by war and bitter pain
But now, with my enemies
finally bested and slain
I find myself wishing
Although it be in vain
Wishing that to one day
have a heart again.
For too long have I felt
the hatefulness of cold steel
And now my fingers long
for the the sweetness of a softer feel
It still does elude me
This feeling to me denied
Those battlefields of old;
in truth.. part of me has died.
Death's release
In every orc's life
Comes the final day
When death be at the door
And you become the prey
But that is not the moment
To give up and simply die
It is within defiance
That some of our strength does lie
So pick up your swords, my brother
And hand me that axe, my sister
For I will fight until the very end
Despite any cut, wound or blister!
And should my veins still run dry
My blood spilled over soft grass
I know what awaits me to be glorius
And my eyes can close at last.
For Nazkhur
Alone but a trickle
In a never-ending flood
But together we be tied
United by our blood
Shared be the words
Visible be our scars
My strength is yours
Sisterhood be ours.
For Kozgugore
No matter what path,
down which you stray.
I will be your hunter,
and you my loving prey.
My mark upon your skin,
made by teeth and blood.
Our enemies will drown,
my hatred; a bitter flood.
It is for you alone,
that I ache to reach.
My hands will roam your flesh,
seeking what it has to teach.
What has been exchanged,
can never be undone.
The wolves will sing it;
We are one.

Re: Orc poetry
An orc wrote those poems? Impossible! Such beautiful poems could never come out of any green mongrel's mouth - haha! Jokes aside, I really and truly loved reading the poems! I especially liked "Warrior's lament" and "For Kozgugore". They were all so brilliantly written though, well done and I'm sure we'ld all love it if you could treat us with some more ;).

Re: Orc poetry
Together
Across fjords and frosty hills,
reflected in his
Feral eyes.
Across time and unbound space;
love that never
truly dies.
Beyond tides and endless dunes,
we are together;
fates entwined.
(Beloved) War
Once more do I hear the echoes,
of your distant drums.
The world is painted red;
a sign of what comes.
Teeming with promises of old,
like an unwashed stain.
I remember your dance;
my feet move again.
You cast a shadow vast,
life holds no appeal.
Lips that were held so dear;
I kiss, now, with steel.
Across fjords and frosty hills,
reflected in his
Feral eyes.
Across time and unbound space;
love that never
truly dies.
Beyond tides and endless dunes,
we are together;
fates entwined.
