Poetry in a local newspaper
Read to this to help the proper moods settle in, give it some time to get started properly, even.
Some time during the last night, a single woman in her mid-twenties were found dead in her home in the outskirts of Goldshire, her pose arranged carefully as if she was resting on her bed. The following poem was found under her pillow, according to the journalist reporting about the case. Very little else is known about her case.
The starry sky above is framed by imposing eternities
But this moment, love, we're all there is, filling the emptiness together
Kingdoms rise, kingdoms fall, Father Time doesn't notice
But all else disappears as two poor souls merge to one
Existence pauses as your eyes meet mine
Our embrace is forever, eternal, complete
The oceans swallow continents, the stars fade and die
Our moment passes, but our affection is undying
Your life's blood runs out, as our lips disengage
We are one, at last
One, love, dancing on the sun beyond the realms of the waking
OOC:
Yeah, I'm playing with poetry again, it's fun having a creative release and all that, and as I still read these pages every now and then, I chose to grace you with the result. Not sure about the rythm of this one, though, but it felt natural upon reading. This topic is not meant purely as background fluff to those of you who should wish to.
I do not claim ownership of the picture, it is shamelessly borrowed from the Deviant art user you'll find if you click it.

Re: Poetry in a local newspaper
It's on the long list of things that might happen if certain conditions are met in my daily life, but it's not happening right now, though. That's all I really know about the matter right now.siegmund wrote:I wish he would!

Re: Poetry in a local newspaper
(A poem by my Warlock and i had no idea where else to post)
Silver, a color i much admire, so simple, like your proud smile.
With every step i grow dire, can I make another mile?
Your eyes glow of inner fire, may I ask of what you desire?
You wear such simple attire, yet better than those zealots in Northshire.
A possibly vile, but always so fun life style.
In the end to me it seems worthwhile.
Still, sometimes it may feel as if I'm on a prye,
perhaps it is just some good company I require.
