I may have misunderstood this at the time due to confusion or anything, but... tunnels?
Re: The Plaguelands Crusade - coming June the 4th!
Apparently the dwarves dug a tunnel to that inn in Andorhal. OOCly it was us sneaking a lock and two rogues in to summon the lot over. We had to do something against your bigger numbers I guess .

It may just be me, but isn't the whole tunnel argument a little old? I'm not complaining about the event itself or anything, but honestly, I think there are better means of transportation than -tunnels-. o.<

And even though dwarves are pro at digging said tunnels, I doubt a tunnel of this magnitude could be built in only a few days. You need special machinery for that, which I bet the dwarves didn't lug all the way from their lands to.

Tunnel man, tunnel man, the arathorians, are tunnel man, dig all day, day and night, to- nevermind, well!
Like Imanuel said, from now on, until about somewhere next week- unplanned RP-pvp, lots of RP, so on. Then, few planned RP-pvp battles, another small break for unplanned, and final battle!

Re: The Plaguelands Crusade - coming June the 4th!
*sighs*
I guess some always will have to complain, but let me explain the tunnel.
1. It was not dug now..
2. We did RP it out, a scholar mentioned a hidden passage to Andorhal, so we sent search parties into Scholomance who found the scrolls with the map, as we didn't knew where it started.
3. We scouted the end, in Andorhal.
4. Due to it's age it had collapsed, so some boulders were blocking it, but the dwarves managed to blast the passage open
5. Since one of the bridges were gone and the horde has massive numbers we needed a way to get in there, so makes sense to use the tunnel Icly
6. Every medieval keep/fort has an escape tunnel, these could be several kilometers long and often lead into a settlement, it could take years to build it, so it would odd if there would not be such a tunnel
7. While a lake surrounds the island it's not very deep and the geology is suitable for such projects
So yes, it was a way to do something in an innovative and creative way (not just summon people) that made sense ICly, if there are further problems with this please contact me in the game, now im off to work!

It did give us an unfair advantage. Which we used to charge the wrong way!
Man.. I laughed. Hard.

Re: The Plaguelands Crusade - coming June the 4th!
I'd go into a discussion about how WoW isn't a medieval setting per say and as to the manner to RP such things out, but heck, I can't be bothered turning this topic into another drama thread already.
And actually, you didn't charge the wrong way. We gathered at the square, but we took a bit of a 'tour' around town the moment you charged, so to say.

our plan was actually to simply ride 'around' your incoming charge, using the inn as a barrier, then hit you in the backside.
a strategem perfectly executed.

Then there is a horde that doesn't involved the orcs and blood elves apparently.
I remember hearing that all planned combat would be friday-saturday-sunday.

One of the organisers on Alliance side said after the last battle on monday was it, that the final rppvp battle will be on wednesday for some reason. -shrug- I only today learn that there is no such thing since the information was false.

Re: The Plaguelands Crusade - coming June the 4th!
I talked with the hordies last night, which they were obviously clueless, and suddenly realize they're clueless about any battle on Wednesday. Kris and Koz said they knew nothing, I couldn't find Rasonal nor any alliance organisators, but I guess the hour was too late for that, so decided to wait for today. Thank god that the allies didn't gather a raid only to come to WPL and face the tumbleweed xD

Chill guys and girls!
Spoke to Ras and Shrogan today and we decided to cancel tonights w-pvp due to a misunderstanding, the crusade will continue tonight with RP (thats the main objective anyway with the crusade) and the horde can enjoy their victory!
