He is all tough until he actually has power. Then he realises his position is based on the loyalty of the people.

Garrosh's position is a delicate one. He is NOT Warchief, he is simply a dei facto one. A step in. He knows that if -he- truly steps out of line and HOrde opinion they will overthrow him and assign Vol'jin or another until Thrall returns. And Vol'jin has the ambition and cunning to get it done.

Actually, I checked all round the sanctum for Thunderclapping Warriors and Core Hounds. But found nothing. It's not a violent shake, a subtle one that makes you think your monitor is faulty. But eventually you work out, it's not.
