Westfall was only a setback!

Lol'd though, it seems that Horatio Laine stuff will be the main quest line in Westfall (most zones have 1-2 main quest lines in Cata that go trough the zone instead of 10 small mixed ones) Nice change overall imo.

Quests in Tirisfal, Silverpine and Hillsbrad flat out say that the plague was Sylvanas' plan. The only thing Putress did was use it without her permission.

This. Sylvanas has the purpose of using it to conqour lands. Not use against her allies.

Why would her allies' lands not eventually be conquered? Maybe she thought she could get away with it at the Wrathgate but it failed (due to LK surviving?) or maybe it was Putress throwing it on the living. But she had a hand in the wrathgate at least, I'm sure of it (and by that I mean not just in its development but in its use)

Rest of the Dens are being guarded by Maeiv style Wardens (annoying as hell, because they use the belf model).

Other points of interest in Hyjal; Ysera and Rag duking it out, Elementalist Orthel (once supposed to continue the Eranikus chain) finally shows up and there's a vision of Cenarius, Aessina and that wolf at the well of eternity. Also noticed Baron Geddon walzing about, makes me wonder if we'll see any other of the old geezers returning.

The Ironforge airport is under attack by what seems like Dark Iron insurgents, aaand the Forsaken Camp in Arathi's called Galen's Fall. 's about all.

Can I just say, Galen has been dead since Vanilla. So Danath probably IS back and that's Blizzard saying 'Galen died here'. Although he died years back.. Although Defias wise, Galen died at the hands of the horde yonks ago.
