The Grand Alliance [War Council]

These posters are put up by dwarven emissaries in all major and minor settlements of the Alliance. Some of these posters would probably make their way to the Horde in due time as well.

Comrades.

Humans, Kaldorei, Gnomes, Draenei, Worgen, comrades of the Grand Alliance, one and all, men and women. Soldiers, politicians, workers and intellectuals, allies unite! It is a dark time that we are in, a time of hardship, suffering and pain, and in this dark time we only have but each other. The barbarians of the Horde march upon our lands from every direction, they march upon our families and those, whom we love, yet in a world almost consumed by the darkness of greed and malign intentions, it is the Grand Alliance that must stand firm, it is the Grand Alliance that must resist the endless onslaught of our enemies.

On behalf of the Supreme Senate of the union Khaz Modan, I, Senator-Marshall Arkadii Irondawn invite you all to a summit of war to discuss methods and plans against the barbarians who seek to invade us. The enemy is ruled by the iron fist of Hellscream, upon this iron fist is the gauntlet of tyranny, and if we do not act now then the practise of slavery will be extended upon all of Azeroth. Comrades, the barbarians of the Horde have forced a war of annihilation upon us, using weapons of mass destruction as you have seen in Theramore and threatening our very existence, they have escalated this Great War into something more vile and disgusting, they have escalated this war into a final war.

The enemy had calculated that we would be torn apart from their first blow, this was almost a decade ago, they were wrong. We were forced to retreat and move back many times, but we were not defeated. We were brought to our knees, but we were not defeated, each time we rose, we were more determined, each time we rose, we rose stronger. Despite the temporary illusion of victory the Horde has had, we, the Grand Alliance have remained stalwart in our defence against the crashing waves of oppression.

We have suffered heavy losses in the fields of battle, but we have not lost the faith in our unyielding soldiers whom are both young and old and for that we must praise their efforts and the blood they shed on the battlefields in the name of the Alliance. Jointly and united in our efforts, the Grand Alliance can triumph, but only when united! The Horde stares down hungrily upon us, anticipating our next move, let them see the marching of the Grand Alliance, let them see the war that they have started begun to unfold before them, be worthy of this mission, soldiers, citizens and workers, be worthy of it! For it is a just war we fight, in the name of justice, truth and liberty we fight.

The Horde has swept upon our lands like a swarm of locusts for the last time, pillaging and taking what they please, an eruption of death and destruction in every direction that their vile soldiers have marched. No more I say, no more. This swarm has come close to reaching our capital cities, but at the right moment the outstanding courage of our soldiers has shown the Horde, that we shall not be ground down, and we shall not be forced into extinction. Yet to speak of courage and loyalty is to never forget that those who have perished on the numerous battlefields throughout Azeroth, and that they have not died in vain, their names will go down forever into the annals of history as defenders and heroes of our nations.

I have myself full confidence in our soldiers, both new and old, that if all do their duty, and nothing is neglected, and the best decisions are made, as they are being made, we will prove ourselves capable of defending our great nations and our homes.

The storm of war is something we have survived before and can survive again, the Grand Alliance is made of strong and durable nations with rich histories, war is not a foreign element, war is not a new element, and we will survive. Even though large swathes of land have been rapidly conquered by the Horde, we shall not falter in defending our native soil from the dictatorial and barbarous mechanisms of Hellscream’s Horde, we shall not flag or fail ourselves or our nations. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Kalimdor, we shall fight on the oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and strength in the air, we shall defend our
homelands, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight in the jungles and we shall fight in the mountains, we shall fight on the fields and we shall fight on the streets and we shall never surrender, and if I do believe, that one nation of the Alliance were to fall to the brutal menace of tyranny, that our beloved allies would continue the war until their last strengths are exhausted to step forth in liberating their comrades.

Firstly, thank you Stalin&Churchill for some inspiring words, I have shamelessly used some material, especially the end.
Secondly, Alliance War Council, leaderships and/or their first representative are all invited to Ironforge.

Venue: Hall of Arms, Ironforge, Military Ward.
Everybody will be questioned as to their presence their IC, anti-stealth wards will be present IC, people who are not supposed to be there will probably be arrested and made dig in the quarry for a year or two.

24th of April? So in 2 Days? Will be there.

Just a note. If you do not attend this summit IC or send a representative there is little to no IC explanation for being present in Alterac.

The armies have to have a reason to be there, and that is the logic I am following.

It seems the Tushui pandaren as such haven't really been acknowledged by the players as being members of the Alliance just yet.

It probably has something to do with the fact that so few players actually play Tusuhi pandaren. I have seen many pandaren from Pandaria and quite a few from the Wandering Isle, but none of them were explicitly Tushui or at least wore it proudly on their chests. It's hard to include something that's not visibly there.

When referring to the 'Grand Alliance', it is an IC term to draw upon historic relevances of the Grand Alliance which stood against the Orcish kind in the second war. It's for war rhetoric and nostalgia.

The Grand Alliance is the one after the third war, if I'm not mistaken, which has since grown in size and race diversity.

As Helmut unloaded another filecabinet into a traveling coffin he were overwhelmed with exitment. He had grown tired of the many small conflicts around Stormwind city and it's lands. It was months since he was last deployed into action, during the retaking of Stromgarde. It will be nice to revisit the old roaming grounds, he thought to himself. At the floor landed a map. He jumped down from his stool and looked at it, immediately sporting a smile.

- Yes! Exactly what I was looking for! This will come in handy!

He folded the note and put it in his backpocket. He grabbed a large knapsack and started to fill it with documents and maps. Not only was he preparing for Alterac but also the Tol Barad conflict tht drew closer. He was so exited that he had already started to wear extra socks. Now it was only the war council and then he would be on his way. Maybe he should bring some fine alcohol from his collection to lighten up the mood and get people on his side. "No!" he thought and turn his head to another corner of his office.

- I will need to pack my weapons first! Which dagger should I bring..?

I will not be present, so hopefully Gilran will be to represent Ironforge.

A representative of a certain group of Pandaren shall make an appearance.

I was with Fuzzy on first, dunno if i can make it today, shall see.
