[A] The Grand Auction

The Grand Auction will be open to the public Thursday 6th of April, starting at 19.55!

A great chance to sell old sword, books and other interesting pieces while making a good amount of gold! 10% of the selling price is taken as a fee and the total sum from all these fees will be split, half will be shared by the different orphanages in Azeroth and the Outlands and half will be given to help the widows of the war.

The program:

19.00 Time to inspect the various items
19.55 Opening of the auction and a short introduction to the rules
20.00 The First Auction starts, for general items, weapons and armours
20.30 The Second Auction starts for books and miscellaneous items

The times can change depending of the number of items that will be sold.

The auction will be hosted by the Holy Lightbringers and everyone from the Alliance is welcome.

If you have items to sell, send a description and a minimum selling price for the item.

There been some auctions before and they are always great fun!

Here is a description how it will work.

Part one of the auction is for in-game items.
Part two of the auction is for GHI items (Gryphonheart Items, RP addon to create your own stuff)

The in-game items will be sold for in-game gold, the GHI items for "RP" gold (please bid according to your characters/orders wealth in both cases).

All items must be approved and it's just for roleplayers (sorry chinese goldsellers!).

If you have an item, send me a PM here or an in-game letter with a short description of the item and a minimum selling price.

The 10% fee is just for RP reasons and is nothing that is paid with in-game gold. So for the in-game items the whole selling sum goes to the seller.

This is a chance for you to be creative with GHI, there is plenty of time left just so people can prepare properly!

Finally, I need suggestion for a location, it's a shame the Dwarven Hall in Stormwind is gone, it would been perfect!

Well, there are the council chambers you could make use of, but that might look too "official".

The Blue recluse has a pretty good layout, so, you could always make use of that as a more informal location?

I'd say that a fitting place could be the garden right outside the SW library, at the keep.

Or perhaps where the weddings are usually celebrated, behind the Cathedral.

Due to low interest and as it's colliding with two other events I have postponed this, new date will be announced later.

Perhaps it can be arranged as a part of Noblegarden-week?
