Derby of the Districts - 17/04/2012

Since the city was founded, there has always been a certain tension between the noble labourers of the Dwarven District and the snobby craftsmen of The Old Town. This tension evolved over the years as the city’s main guard force was relocated to Old Town.
As of late, this guard regiment have grown more aggressive and judgmental towards the lower classes of society. Guards being spat at, workers being discriminated and an overdose of unnecessary insults that serve no purpose but for compensational behaviour: the heads of both parties have agreed that it is too much.
To prevent further escalation of the feud, they came to an agreement to turn all this negative energy in something positive. An (extremely) friendly game of Rugby.

The Stormwind Regiment and the Labourers of the District have challenged one another to a match. At first, the intentions were good... but as with all things, it doesn’t take a genius to see that neither side will settle for a loss. Those who lose will suffer eternal shame, whilst the victor may bask in the glory that is...

Even though this event will be mainly for the Cartel and the Regiment, every glorious match needs a crowd. Everyone is free to join in on the feast that will inevitably take place outside of the pitch. Booze and women will be provided!

This is great, Sullee. I'll see if I can attend this.. It'll depend on whether or not I have a character icly involved with the Cartel at the time or not. We'll see! Great stuff anyway.
