Draenei role-play

Bumping this to see if there is still any interest in some coordinated draenei role-play. A plot, a gathering, or a mass - I haven't quite decided yet, but since I've decidedly to seriously return to role-playing one (Huruma), I'd like to see if there's still any interest.

Time for a plot to tie the Draenei in with current events?

If blizzard aint gonna do it, perhaps it's time for THELOS to step up!

Huruma.

Huruma is in the anti-thesis of Thelos. If Thelos was a Hare Krishna Guru, then Huruma is a cold hearted Jesuit crusader, spreading the gospel with a warhammer, rather than with silly singing and merry-making.

Working on an idea for a Draenei here too (the more I'm looking into them, the more interesting they feel to RP) who would probably be quite interested in this approach

yay! More people thinking on rolling draenei.. thow odly enough in the inactivity of draenei monny's family seems to have grown.. I confess to not having much done to keep draenei rp alive.. I tried a couple of times and gave up as at the time nobody seemed interested and with the death of ere argus quickly aproching.. I ended up knowing only one other draenei in the old community that logged (that being dranac who has now gone horde side)

It seems whenever i attempt to do events.. they always seem to flop I dont knwo why.. thustly i have given up on them.. however I will gladly help any rise of a draenei sub croup/events/community if one was started.. and yeah i forsee many clashes between huruma and the Monny/Niiata combinations.. will be interesting to see how that grows.. But note.. "ve need more men!"

Inran of Kor'khat, my Draenei, is currently my most active character. I do enjoy playing the race, and all the lore that is behind these goats from space, myself having taken the uncorrupt Auchenai approach. I've got my duties with leading Wild Tempest with said character, but should we be within reach (like, not on the other side of the continent), i'll get involved in any Draenei gatherings if i am able to.

That's going to be interesting, since I don't think my character believes in such a thing.

Ive started RPing a draenei, joined Wild Tempest, and I like where it is going.

Hopefully we will get some draenei lore in the next expansion.

I have decided to join Wild Tempest on Huruma. There's a few draenei in here, and I can't wait to get started role-playing with them proper.

Wild Tempest is a good place for Huruma.

All you need to know is that they're old, they're from space and they just loooooove the light.

It is nice to see the Draenei rpers around the Cathedral square. But it would be better if human philosophy and Draenei philosophy is kept a little separate rather than trying to merge it. Like the Dwarves version of the Light.
It may make the roleplaying more interesting and people would pick Draenei's to rp their version rather than sticking with humans because its a more popular race.

hehe monny joind the disciples with the aim of trying to get humans to follow the draenei's way of the light and naaru.. she just dint tell you about it XD, she wants to help the young race advance and mature .. to have them see the world threw the eyes of a draenei and a naaru and thustly she hops greater peace on azeroth will slowly spread out as well humans have the greatest influence on azeroth asside from orc's

To be perfectly honest I don't think there is enough lore to warrant different interpetations.

There's just the Light, the one version. Most differences between 'versions' are of played design and aren't inherent in the lore.

Interpetations that differ from player to player though - oh boy, that's a doozy! Because the Light is so vague and ill-determined, every player sort of runs away with it and makes it their own thing. Rather than there being different versions for different races, I more often see that there are different versions for each player, which I like: it often leads to interesting conflict.

But that's just me.
