New recruits - how delectable.

The Apothecarium has been hard at work for the coming onsault of Alliance. Bottle death! Sane sanity! We do it all. Come brothers and Sisters, watch as the damnation of our enemies begins.

The Eight Platoon meeting is scheduled tonight at 21:00. If you're interested in joining the military or guild in general, that is the perfect time. Also, last night was filled with amazing role-play with Gagren, Puppets and Haluthious!

Overview of the recent activities of The Eight Platoon and the ones yet to be implemented:

-Preparation for Bulwark deployment are coming to an end. Troops can be seen all around Tirisfal Glades, surveillancing most areas.

-Recruitment officer position is open, captain Gerleck Rivers is accepting applications, and for this matter, recruitment offices are being situated at certain locations, although it is not officially announced. Temporary one will most definitely be set at the Bulwark once defense is readied.

-Basic training at War Quarters is going to take place in shortest period. Recruits who pass will advance to more complex level of training such as formation training, battle simulation, duels and more.

-Scouting team is being formed. It is not going to be an official subsection, but a squad of soldiers specialized for certain missions. It will consist of both ranged and melee troops.

-Assignments will be given to recruits in their training session and that would include tracking whoever steps in and out of Undercity, and whoever is using zeppeling services. One in particular will be chosen for a sky overseer, in case of aggression.

-Massive investigation is being arranged and desertion check being the purpose. As a lecture from activities from former leadership, every citizen, soldier, apothecary and basically everyone is going to get accounted with their biographies, professions and activities.

-Resource pursuit is one of priorities as it is a fact that we have to track bolster income and prevent being in a situation to be running low on either ore, wood, and minor assets.

-Rearrangement of patrol routes will also take their place in order to keep track of most activities of the kingdom. Border control will be properly muscled, as well, especially now that desertion check takes its place.

-Relations between the Apothecarium and The Eight Platoon is pretty much comforted. Leading figures are cooperating on most subjects as it is certain that combinability between the two will result in overwhelming strenghtening of our force.

Information:

Delia maggotus is a genetically altered “worm” that is capable of working within the vessel that is the Forsaken body. Delias Maggotus’s is a larval stage worm whose life-cycle has been slowed by a considerable rate to carry out its function – removal of detritus.

Forsaken have a plight that is common to most non-living beings. Amongst humanoids the progressive rate of rot and decay is faster than other organism. Naturally limiting the “age” of forsaken. With regard to the “health” of the forsaken body this worm offers an opportunity under optimum conditions to increase the longevity of the body. Results show an exponential increase in longevity). Delias Maggotus feeds upon the internal rot and prevents a cascade effect were secondary rot sites form.

Forsaken are advised to only house the worm for a week before removing it. Please note that damage due to excessive feeding of worm can be fixed via stitching or necromantic aid.

Current level of testing: Subject “worm” has been released to forsaken population. Further results to follow. Results indicate that “worm” does not function properly in forsaken with high solute concentrations in remaining fluid of the body.

Results may vary from worm to worm and toxicity of internal environment of forsaken body.

The worm should be kept in a closed environment. In addition - a medium has been created that is isotonic to that of the "worms" blood chemistry for long term storage ( over 24hrs). This is due to Worm only having a semi-permeable membrane -its outer skin with weak epidermis layers beneath, that all chemical interactions use as passage with the external environment use.

In the up and coming weeks The Kingdom of Lordaeron will prepare for a few 'big' things that will hopefully re-ascertain the fear of the Forsaken threat looming over humanity.

Planning has started for 'The Throne of Lordaeron' campaign with our gracious pretender already having joined the guild as well as the the Argent Dawn contact, the guild itself will see tremendous growth in the coming weeks and incidentally enough - Forsaken role-play will/hopefully rise in frequency.

I have some free time on my hands now so there are some interesting things that need to be taken care of.

We've been having some quiet time but all is well and plans are a workin'

I've demoted all the 1 month inactive to 'Commoner' and won't be removing anybody from the guild I don't think.

Also, a new forum is under construction.

Also, the hunt has begun!

The Eight Platoon's activities will significantly increase this week as I have some events planned. Whoever is interested in joining The Kingdom of Lordaeron, or in role-playing with military part of it, can send me a PM, or whisper Gerleck in-game.

Training day went really well, covering basic formation training, movement and scouting with many attendants. Specifically cooperation with the apothecarium and its members is resulting in a rather strong connection.

Brightwater lake has been investigated, noticing minor activity of mindless zombies, but the area has been contaminated.
Contamination of the shore, north of the lake, is also active, as The Eight Platoon has got to the cognition that the murlocs have most likely become infested. It is spreading on rest of the murlocs, in slow, but certain state.

Dr. Haluthious Vouten is in charge of the scientific side of the research from the very beginning, and we have yet to see the results and hopefully find out what caused this aggressive behavior within murlocs.

The Eight Platoon has scheduled the second training session for next week, certain date is not know yet, as it all depends of the murloc situation as it might take over the priority over rest of activities.

Tonight, at 22:00, Dr. Haluthious Vouten is hosting a gathering at Vengeance Landing and will focus on chemical testing, so if you want to become an apothecary yourself, or simply want to find out which activities are included in a regular day of an apothecary, feel free to attend.

The Apothecarium has assigned new Junior Apothecaries to the "Department for Research and Development" and the "Department of Implantation."

Expect lugubrious and clandestine events to follow.

It was a pleasure role-playing today. The Eight Platoon announced the second training session for this week, although the exact date of the event is unknown as it all depends of how the murloc situation will develop. The contaminated are around the shore is now on surveillance by members of Vile Thorn, who will probably be present at the training session. Although some of the guards from Brill will still be patrolling in that area. Apart from that, captain Gerleck Rivers announced an activity which will be put on effect once he readies the paperwork required for the resource hunt. Additional resources are required for the platoon armory, as they are growing in numbers.

The Eighth Platoon members are patrolling on the streets of Undercity, as always, but now it seems that they have an extra reason and pretty high motivation. Why? Oh well, it seems that we have thieves within the kingdom. Platoon is missing some supplies, they've stocked beforehand, and that is something which Captain Gerleck Rivers won't tolerate. At present, he is working on a written version of information briefing that will be presented to his regal soldiers and deathstalkers.
