The Disciples of Light are a lawful-good Order of Knights and Champions of the Holy Light and is part of the Church of the Holy Light. They were commissioned and created by the Northshire Abbey Priesthood that put their efforts together for the same objective: to help make the World a better place. Objectives include safeguarding Alliance territories, aiding the fight against the Horde, bringing an end to the Forsaken race and re-claiming the lost Northern lands, defeating the Scourge and Burning Legion and generally aiding the Alliance wherever and whenever required.

This long history of crime fighting has ensured that they are hated by all forms of criminal and cultist organisations.
Consisting solely on Holy Light followers, the Disciples of Light often arrange and participate in events dedicated to the Light, as well as duties that encompass working for the Alliance as a whole; masses, pilgrimages, patrols, calls to arms against the Horde, Undead or Burning Legion, and to deliver diplomacy to other factions.



Elite of the Disciples of Light

These are the Elite Light wielders of the Disciples. Knights that have shown great talent with wielding the Light will be asked to perform more tests before joining this elite team, designed specifically to destroy Forsaken, Death Knights and Necromancers. They will research new methods, create new weapons and be constantly training to make sure they do not fail.

Knights of the Disciples of Light

Knighthood is granted after completing the tasks and requirements for every rank. Knighthood is granted through a faction wide ceremony. The title of Knight is one for 'life'... or it would require dramatic events to loose it. The title is carried wherever the Knight goes.

Knighthood is an accomplishment on itself and the final mark in a carreer of hard training and development, but it also symbolizes a new beginning. Once a Knight, the Disciple becomes a shining symbol of the Light and righteousness. A Knight is always on a quest or ready to defend the innocent! A Knight is required to function as a full Disciple, but is also deemed capable of leading his own operations and make independent choices in his actions.

Squires of the Disciples of Light

Upon completing the requirements for promotion, Disciples can be promoted to Squires. Squire is the first senior rank of the order, in which the Disciple is required to make a choice in Chapter. Depending on which Chapter the Squire will join, they will be trained, measured and tested differently.

Generally, Squires receive the final stage of their training in the ways of the Light. They are also given their greatest challenges to prove themselves worthy of Knighthood. They will have a Knight or a Chaplain as their mentor.



What do we do?
The Disciples of Light closely follow the three key virtues of Respect, Tenacity and Compassion to fulfill their aims and goals which include:
· Safeguarding Alliance territories
· Aiding active military units against Horde aggression
· Actively battling the Forsaken to help in the reclamation of the lost Northern Kingdoms
· Defeating the larger threats, such as the Scourge, the Burning Legion and the Sha
· Aiding the Alliance in all matters and respects in coherence with the three virtues of the Light
· Stopping criminal and cultist activities throughout the Kingdom of Stormwind

The long standing reputation and activities of the Disciples of Light have made the order both feared and hated by the practitioners of the illegal magic’s and the worshippers of foul religions. The order has long participated in functions dedicated to the Light including sermons, pilgrimages and patrols.
