The only good thing about it is the wings and the tail, had the tail been longer and slimmer. The color changing is neat tho, but I'd not get such a ugly mount for that.

That's the Bad Robot robot (or very very similar). So my guess would be a tie-in to JJ Abrams some how (Star Trek Into the Darkness?).

The mount doesn't look very "Engineer" to me. Maybe because it's only half finished (at least I hope so, it looks shite...). This is closer to an engineering horse to me!
