Nominate new forum moderators

Greetings.

I am soon about to get properly active again. And with that I am going to have a look through the forum as well as have a look on the moderation activity and possibly add a few new moderators. Note that this is not yet decided, nor how many if this would be the case. However, I wanted to bring this up so that you people can nominate who you think would do a good job as moderator (or offer your own help of course).

What I would like to see in a possible moderator is a calm and decent behavior. I think it goes without saying that both Alliance and Horde players are welcome to apply. Past and present members of the server are also welcome to apply, since I see pros with having both. Naturally I will also have to judge on past behavior on the forum, as well as how active one is planning to be as a moderator on the forum.


If you know anyone that you believe fits the job as a calm, neutral and active moderator then please do nominate him or her here. If you think you yourself would be up for the task, do write that also. I will be moving tomorrow, after which I'll be inactive for a little while depending on when I get to set my computer up. This is why I want to get this up now. And once I'm able to be around again I'll have a look through the list, talk with the current moderators as well as contact possible future moderators for a chat.

I am under the impression that I have been granted posting rights in order to express my opinion here, well here it is.

I would like to nominate Antistia as a potential candidate for the moderating Politburo of DefiasRP, the reasons are simple.

He is a neutral prick who has no problem in obeying the law, he loves the law, I swear, if the law was a lady.

No, I think that Antistia is one of the most impartial and professional moderators that can be found, his moderating on the Cult of Shadow forum as well as the other Defias Brotherhood forum which I petitioned him to moderate on as well, he did a great job and even edited and deleted posts I made when my temper took over. He studies law and is a smart guy who is reliable and intelligent, if he was a lady...

Anyway, my nomination and vote is with Antistia (regardless if he wants it or not, he's also an American capitalist loving shit)

I would like to take my time to highlight and underline the fact that this approach is very progressive and liberal and something that should be more appreciated as it has not been conducted like this in the past.

Julia, thank you for taking on-board critique from various people throughout the realm, it is a very nice change to see. Secondly, in my humble opinion, the amount of general drama on this forum has decreased in great size, therefore you may not even need a new moderator, perhaps a more efficient division of labor regarding the updating of threads and maintaining of stickies and what-not, there are many, many, many outdated threads that are the 'visible' ones.

Thirdly, with this nomination of a moderator, perhaps a thread regarding 'Beneficial Changes to DefiasRP' can be opened by yourself or another crew member for a general brainstorming session of anybody with any ideas on how to improve not only the forum, but the forums presence on the realm.

I do like Paozi, but I can imagine him banning/warning for "minor" things as opposed to being as neutral as possible.

Personally, I don't think there needs to be another moderator currently. We rarely have problems and the ones that exist atm deal with those when they come around.

As said, this is just for a possible new moderator. It is not set, and will be discussed more in debt once I'm all set once moved
