Stupid things you do...

I'm sure we're all done stupid things. This is the topics for things you -knew- was stupid, but had to try anyway just to see if it worked!


For some reason, it seems as everyone just suggest how to "solve" my stupid idea. I want to hear the stupid thing you have done too!


I'll start with something I came to think about while I was doing some RP in a cell.

There is usually precations taken to prevent the prisoner from taking suicide, such as removing their shoelaces. Consider yourself this: You are trapped and got nothing but your own body to kill yourself. Is it possible?

I got an idea of how you could do it, and had to try if it was possible to make the initial act wich would lead to your death. I will reveal to you later what my idea was, though I figured out an easier way to do it while making this post, working on the same cause of death.


Don't do anything -to- stupid

Bite your own tounge and choke on your own blood. Or more like stick your tounge out and give yourself an uppercut.

Mine is kinda simple, Driving while slammed.

If in a cell and able to walk around it as you see fit:
Try to run up a wall, fail deliberately and land on your head.

I actually think it would be hard to slam your head hard enough to die.

I thought the easiest and "safest" way to suceed would be to drain your own blood. For some reason I didn't think of biting at first...

I tried to cut a wound in my arm with my (short) nails. After awhile of rubbing and cutting I could see some blood starting to come, but it never got to actual drops of it. Eventually I couldn't bother more, as I couldn't see any actual progress anymore.

Now I've got a swollen oval wound on my lower arm, wich doesn't bleed at all. Upon closer inspection it appear as if I got through perhaps two layers of skin.

I think the hard thing is to actually get through the skin. Once that is done, it shouldn't be so hard to enlarge the wound and keep it bleeding.

Hand stand up against up against the wall making all the blood rush to your head?

Provoke the prison guard.

Provoke that huge skin-head who's you're sharing the cell with.

I once rolled down 50 metres on a hill because we wanted to see how it would feel, was done during winter though.

Result: Bruises :< for all of us.

Although my stupid ideas are fun to discuss, I would like to hear more of yours!

Idea One: Share a cell with a Tauren, and drop your soap.

Idea Two: It is technically impossible for your body to do something that would impose death, because pain won't allow you to so. Something about your brain having protection against that kind of thing (Watch the Happening kk). So, what you could do... is simple. Learn to become schizophrenic, and have an argument with yourself. After you're done, your two split personalities will fight each other using your body. Thus, death.

It doesn't take much pain to open a bleeding wound, the reason I think it would be the easiest way to suceed. I don't actually think the force while standing on your arms would be big enough to kill you, at worst you become paralized and thus fail.

I can't be the only one to have tried stupid things

This winter I and few other friends had a little Arctic Challenge contest, involving Sauna and then we had the idea "Hey let's climb to a tree while naked and being upside down, aka ass-first style"

"Sure"

I ended up lying face down in the snow and it was -25 celcius. Luckily I'm half-monkey so I didn't make it very far.

If you have a pillow, anything of the likes, sheats, just dive your head in and stop breathing.

Do some sort of ninja-flip-charge against the wall with your head, like Geldar said.

And if your hands are free, why scratch at your wrist? You have teeth and a powerful jaw. NOM NOM!

Scenario one:

I accidentally pushed a 'magic straw' (you know? One of those straws where if you suck it through milk it tastes of the flavour the straw it? Done by nesquick?) and it went through his gums and caused it to bleed. He was pretty pissed.

Scenario two: Tried to slide down a hill using paper-plates and fairy liquid. Result; painful.
