The Chapter Condemns

Men bearing the mark of the White Cross have been spotted scurrying about Old Town under armed escort, leaving a trail of posters in their wake.

A gaunt, elderly figure clutching a gnarled quarterstaff stands on the corner of a street in Old Town, preaching to all who would listen.

"Ye faithful, I would speak with you today on a subject close to my heart. It is but a word - one capable of destroying our nation. It is the knife in the back. It is the traitor who opens the city gates before an assault. It is damnation itself by another name. It is tolerance!"

"Tolerance is the word of the daemon, the insidious whisper on the wind. “I am harmless,” it lies. “I mean you well,” it deceives. Be assured that its only motive is your doom, to tear down all that you have wrought in your life - to sever your connection with the Light!"

"The Light knows all that is and all that was. It weighs the heart of every man and knows of his every sin. The moment you turn to ‘tolerance’ and accept the heretic and the heathen, the Light knows. And It judges!"

"So heed me when I say this: you must NEVER tolerate him! You must NEVER abide him! Let your righteous shouts drown out his blasphemy when he speaks! Let your righteous blades cut him down when he shows his true purpose! GLORY UNDER THE LIGHT!!""

The flustered priest leans on his quarterstaff for support, panting from the exertion. His keen eyes shimmer with zeal as he stares out at the crowd before him, goading them to action.

A tall man clad in iron steps infront of the tired man and adresses the people who would listen to them.

"Citizens, I have come here to tell you about sellswords and death knights. These are not things to associate with, please note that I said ”things”, and not people. For when one gambles with their souls, you become empty shells, and your image reflects nothing but shadow and corruption, and as Waldermar I. teaches us through his 15th recitation

”To witness evil of any magnitude and to remain passive is to share in its wickedness and become an accomplice of the malefic powers which seek to bring ruin upon humanity - let not a single one escape our watchful gaze!”

To tolerate these beings to wander our streets, our holy ground, is to defile both the city and yourselves. So I implore you, smoke defilers, meaning sellswords and death knights , out of our fair city, so that they do not pose the same threat to your souls as they do here."

He then ends his message by proclaiming proudly: "Glory under the Light!"

Looking pleased beyond words, Farelin smiles at her brothers as she helps them spread the posters across the city. "Praise the Light," she says quietly, each time a poster is put up.

When she'd seen the Anethioneans in Stormwing performing their task, she'd quickly gone to see what they were doing. Seeing the posters, she delightedly offered her help them in their task.

Later that day, she prayed to the Light, thanking It for Its guidance. She had found her proper path in life, and the Light had brought her there.

Wolf peer over Ariandra's shoulder and blinks at some of the words. She jump as Azarion light the paper aflame.

Siegmund passes one of the posters, rubing the back of his head in a confused manner. He shrugs, thinking back on the Chapter from a few weeks ago, wondering if she had forgoten about what transpired in the badlands.

Upon recieving a few copies of said Posters, Kitt begins making a few creative alterations- a rushed copy sent to the printing presses- and a short while later, the following posters begin surreuptitiously replacing the originals:

After making an obscene gesture at Sister Farelin, Azarion casually ignites any chapterian posters he comes across.

Looking around as he stands before one of the posters Doowor growls to himself, He quickly places a hand at the top before digging his claws into the middle of the poster and tearing at it, being sure to leave a claw mark in the wall behind.

Brother Jeremias notices one of Kittrina's altered posters. A broad smile appears on his face and he nods approvingly. "How very commendable of those Chapterians to embrace the well being of the common people and promote a tavern with such exquisite words! Delightful!"
