[Event]The Goodwyn Purges

Friends! Citizens! Brothers and sisters! Men of our Army and Navy! I am addressing you my friends!
The perfidious cultist attacks on his majesties loyal subjects continue to occur throughout the Kingdom unchecked. The first regiment is underfunded and understaffed, the Light order has split in two, disorganized and poorly co-ordinated! The absence of law and order is an invitation to those who seek to exploit our glorious nation. A few days ago we stood together in the Cathedral and remembered our beloved friends and relatives who had sacrificed themselves in the name of the Kingdom of Stormwind and the Grand Alliance, and a few days ago we prayed together, but for what?

If nothing is done, if our Kingdom is infested with heresies and treason and no action is hastily taken, then for what do we fight for? I shall tell you what we fight for, we fight for the radiating and enveloping light of the Church which so long ago sown their seeds throughout the Kingdom, bringing our peoples together. The monarchy of Wrynn under King Varian Wrynn stands firm, but his majesties attention is on his son and all hope for him to be found, so it is in the hands of his loyal subjects to capture, deter and exterminate all heretics and traitors that pose a threat to our glorious Kingdom, therefore, to set an example, Baron Goodwyn shall hold trial of several imprisoned witches who have been tampering with the agricultural produces, spreading heretical beliefs and poisoning the livestock to their own malicious ends!
Those who wish to see justice brought down bluntly are invited; the tower-keep shall host the trials and punishments!

Or has an authority given you the right to execute people?

You lost me. I'm not even in any form with the authorities, and it was out of pure curiousity I wanted to know in what way the Goodwyns intended to kill these people.
Because -that- is roleplay, and not drama.

I belive it's fair to assume nobles has some amount of authority to deal with crimes in their respective lands. That being said it wouldnt be strange for the magistry to... "supervise" in some form considering the recent turbulence.

I shall try to be there in some form or send some people.

Awesome event! For those of you who saw the crazy Anethionean Shadowbreaker running around while the witches were burning...Farelin hadn't gone mad. I warned in raid chat that I was taking screenies, so sorry for the confusion. ;D
