[A Event] The Pit (02-07-10)

"Just as Blackrock orcs and their allies dominate Burning Steppes, so Dark Iron dwarves dominate Searing Gorge. A large population of Dark Iron dwarves, War Golems, and Elementals resides in this dark, mountainous area.

Large mining operations take place in The Cauldron, a giant excavation site forming a huge rift in the middle of Searing Gorge. The Slag Pit lies within The Cauldron and is an underground mining site rich with multiple types of ore. The mining work is mainly done by slave labour, which consists for the most part of captured enemies.

The slave trade is the ruling principle of Dark Irons. It is the source and the glory of their wealth ... the mother lulls the child to sleep with notes of triumph over an enemy reduced to slavery..."

During the latest raid by the Dark Iron Dwarves, your character was taken by surprise, stripped of all their belongings and transported to the Slag Pit, to work in the mines, hacking away at the rock untill they drop dead. Ruthless Dark Iron overseers prevent any attempt at escape or rebelion. Now it is your turn, can you survive, or will you become the next victim of....the Pit?

In this event, you have the opportunity to RP your character as if he/she was captured by the Dark Iron Dwarves and send off to work as a slave. The Dark Irons capture people from any race so any char is free to attend.
Naturally you are stripped of any weapons,armour and items your character was wearing. We advise you to bring a suitable outfit for this event...rags. Your character is allowed to use one tool (mining pick, shovel, hammer..ect)

Alternatively, you can also attend as a Dark Iron Overseer, by running BRD you can aqquire an item wich transforms you into a Dark Iron, including your armour. They last an hour and you can get two wich should be enough to cover the event.

There is no plot or scripted out events whatsoever, whatever happens is up to the players and their characters, will they try to escape? Rebel? Sell out their comrades to the Dark Irons for favors? It's up to you.
The main goal of the people playing the Dark Irons is of course to keep the slaves in line and the production going.

The event will be held on Friday 02-07-10
We will meet up OOC at Thorium Point at 19.30 and when the overseers are ready, we move to the Slag Pit to start the event.
You can allways join in at any time as long as the event is ongoing.
There is no end time set for the event, it's length will depend on the player's actions.
Calendar invites will be handed out and you can whisp me ingame for one.
