Even Anduin used mind control. It's hip these days, you know.

Drustai, I don't object to Vaell being a magistrate, but that's what I was told when I suggested it. My point, though, is that the Kirin Tor aren't Lighties, even if they are generally friendly. I must confess that I didn't know the names of the other people you mentioned. The only ones I know are Vaell and Arenfel. I'm not even sure if, when you say "I", you mean Drustai, who we wouldn't call on because of previous issues with Shadow magic use.
Melnerag, you are right that internal conflicts within the Stormwind community are our own fault, but you have said that you need to bolster your powers to compensate for our greater numbers when, in fact, our own inter-Guild RP already ensures that we are not drawing on the strength we theoretically could.
Vaell, my point about cultists being able to go to Stormwind OOCly is that not being able to go there ICly is really no big deal. When I talk about your availability, I mean your immediate availability. I'm not suggesting you are inactive, but we can't call on you at a moment's notice when Beladon comes charging up saying he has just spotted Omen of Discordia near Northshire.
I think that Wulf is exaggerating how isolated the Disciples are, but that's probably a realistic difference in interpretation due to our respective positions within the Guild. Wulf is an officer so may be responsible for seeking help outside the Guild and must make a decision about who to call on. Wulf may be hardline about who he calls on. However, my job is to be the diplomat so tough decisions about bringing in help from people we don't entirely trust fall into my lap. Thus, I might ask for help from the Chapter, despite our disagreement, when Wulf wouldn't take that risk.

Not talking for others, but I always 'alter' my powers depending on how many I face with an IC justification of Sophyra's AoE was difficult to cast but very destructive (ie: good against many enemies, but needing cover). That way I can still go down in one-on-one, but count for more in a bigger fight where bad guys are outnumbered (less chance of friendly fire).

I tend to do the same on my own cultist. Seeing as the villain is meant to be fun for the good guys, I'll use more area attacks and take a few more hits against multiple enemies (I'm not talking immortality; I'm still willing to accept char death), whereas I'll dumb it down against a single enemy, taking hits my char -could- realistically dodge (when it's my choice as to whether my guy sees it coming, etc), or leave myself deliberately open for an obvious attack, because really, I want it to be fun for everyone. Regardless of if I'm going to beat someone, or kill them, or fight them and have to run away, I want it to be fun for them.
Incidentally, for those fighting DKs: remember that death knights rarely show fear or pain, instead getting more aggressive as the injuries mount up, until they die. That isn't to say hamstringing them won't make them limp, but don't expect them to visibly tire in combat, because they -don't.- In large-scale fights keep fighting, if you OOCly and ICly want them dead! Never give up, never--
*cough*

I'm aware of that; I was speaking for the Kirin Tor as a whole. Dru is part of them (or at least, is an indentured servant as part of her sentence), hence my including myself in the list. My point was that the Kirin Tor is rarely called on to assist with cultist stuff even though that should be one of their primary functions. The Kirin Tor are not a Lightie organization, but they are still on the side of the good guys (and most share your beliefs even if not religious) and are a valuable resource that frequently goes unused.

KirinTor - Dedicated to the Kirin Tor community, Dalaran and magic as a whole.
Maybe now contacting is easier.

You both need each other, or it will become dramaticly polarized and dull.
Sum total of my thoughts on the topic right here folks.
I like the cultists! After all, without them who would we have long-winded quasi-philosophical arguments with? Swinging our swords (or other weapons) at each other in deserted or hallowed ground, causing massive property damage all in the name of good versus evil.
@Kazbo: You are the James Bond to my M, always blowing shit up and causing a national media crisis in the name of Dalaran. <3
Not to shorten the topic or anything in that regard, but all we really need is more communication and goodwill between players. Perhaps setting up more events between the factions instead of surprise attacks that one side or the other are left in the dark about, only to clean up the mess afterwards.
Either that or we have a party in the Violet Hold... don't worry, I've got a good seat for you right in prisoner cell block B-32 Sophyra <3

Was really great seeing the Disciples fighting the Black Hand death knight tonight. Despite it not having been an organized thing (he wasn't there to fight, even, at first) it was really quite a fun little brawl, I think. And everyone played very well IC and out, Disciples were very very good sports about it.
(And I got to shoot him. Tee hee!)

Personally i don't see the problem with cooperating or using groups that may not share your exact guidelines and ways.
I mean... as far as ive seen the disciples have done that in the past, for example using the cartel (or more directly Ezlbag) in order to help with a disciples test of patience.
