But Ixi, that requires technical know-how, computer skills that will be useful in life at general and seven kinds of internet voodoo. That's the word among us console-scrubs who just insert discs into our standard issue consoles, at least.

Micro-transactions would likely be a key to the idea, each platform would have separate severgroups to avoid unfair advantages etc.

It's quite easy to get into the MMO market if you just have reasonable goals.

Note: 2 million subscribers are NOT reasonable goals, but estimate and plan around 500k and you'll do fine.

There are three people left at my work today, the other 78 have been sent home because of the snow.

We're not allowed to go home because we don't live far enough away.

I can't begrudge people with long commutes being sent home due to the snow but I can and do begrudge the company not being shut down so I can go home too.
The other two people left are in another office.

Being stuck at work (school) in the snow with just a few people would be awesome. I remember getting stuck in detention one time because there was a huge storm. Sky turned brown. We left the block and the water was flowing down steps like a waterfall. Building got zapped, electricity went off, lost all my work. It was lots of fun :3

But I'll rage to stay on the topic of venting: today my friend went for his college interview and was told he can't do physics A level because he did BTEC science. So now he isn't going to college, so if I go, I'll be alone in a huge college in the city with no friends and a fuck load of shyness. Or I can go to sixth form and be stuck in chav central for the next 2 years.

Only time I can remembe not having school due to snow was because of a snow storm. And that was because well. It was a snow STORM. At the time when we were supposed to walk/cykle/what ever, outside. They deemed the storm part not safe.

Otherwise we'd have to trudge to school even if it was half a meter outside! (more I think they'd stop at in Scania) but not in the true north of Sweden.)

If the snow was too high for the plows, so the busses/cars etc can't get past, you'd get to stay home too. :')

I freely admit we're fucking shit at coping with snow here in the UK. I have no idea why, we've been getting snow forever. But every time it snows its like the entire country panics.

Nope. His science BTECs were supposedly equivalent to GCSEs, but colleges don't accept it. Pretty stupid. Our highschool only has two classes doing GCSE, and the rest are forced to do BTEC. I was originally in set 2 (BTEC) because GCSE supposedly wasn't for me. Physics teacher got me moved back to GCSE and I got straight As nps. And that's another thing to vent about. Fucking BTECs everywhere. They're so pointless, nobody likes them, nobody accepts them, and they're just lots of work.

Most people in all schools I went to classes 1 thorugh 9 all lived within walking or cykling distance. All of those would still have been "You need to come to school" only the people living "out of walking distance" would get excused.
