Find good RP in GW, PC crashed and it takes 5-10 minutes to reboot to fucking desktop then I can't do anything for another 5 minutes because it's all sluggish and opening anything in that time makes it stop responding. I would understand if it was some Dell shit but £1000 of PC doing this is retarded.

Think my harddrive is fucked. BSOD and lockups is probably because of overclocking. But anyway, got back on GW2 after the loading screen got stuck for like 3 minutes and "You were gone for 10 minutes not RPing anymore".

Jesus fuck. I should've gone out with my parents but I thought RPing would be more fun.

Done the usual defrag and disk cleanup? Could also be a ram
issue

Yup. Also checked hard drive for errors. Usually says it has errors, but then says there's no errors when I try to repair.

Maybe it's overheating. I dunno. It just always happens at the worst times.

On my previous computer I had about the same issues, because of the motherboard or whatever it is called had gone to hell (learned that after I had sent it to a tech geek who plucked it apart for parts).

I dunno, it's an aftermarket one though. Few years old but it's always worked. Maybe it's just dusty.

Have you ever vacuumed out the dust in those few years? Definitely something you should do if you haven't.

I sprayed it out last year with an air can when I tried to change some RAM. Broke my GPU and needed to replace it Neutral

But it went 2-3 years before being cleaned the first time and it worked fine.

I would probably try replacing the heatsink then,, is the fan in the heatsink working? did you overclock the pc to far? voltage to high etc.. could also be the thermal past needs replacing..

I replaced the CPU last year so the thermal paste should be good. Haven't overclocked for a while.

I'll take it apart when I get the chance and have a look.

This is more of a statement that I'll be fucked tomorrow than a vent, but here it goes:

Spent the weekend on a military excercise, then saw the gf off to the airport, she'll be gone for the next few months. Spent the following 7,5 hours travelling back home, and now 4 hours and 30 minutes remain until I've gotta get up and run to work.

Suffice to say, I've not really gotten to "recharge the batteries" or whatever you call it, I'm gonna be working in a sleep depraved state, and my daily life's gonna be a lot less interesting.

Getting motivated for the week to come will be a tad harder than usual.

*gasp* how can you hate printers?? Mine is a lovley 2002 hp inkjet colour.. has been dropped, kicked bashed and faced down more windows os system changes than any printer I know and it just keeps on working as good as the day I got it.. its a lovley little bruit!

At school. I'm tired as fuck because I was helping the school set up some music event yesterday night and because of stupid bus routes I didn't get home till shit late. Janitor pestered me because I didn't tidy up the conference hall after last night (I did pack away most of the stuff -alone- which is unusual because the janitors usually help. I left the really heavy stuff (one mixer and the huge wire we've got. I'll literraly break my back if I try lifting that) and I get pissed off at that too. To make everything worse, I think I'm getting sick.

So TL;DR: I'm sick, pissed off and tired. I'm disoriented as fuck and I'm sitting in class. The only thing I want to do is go home. Fuck everything.

Can't you just ask them to send you home? Shit, where I live people just walk straight out of school. Not that they're supposed to, but nobody seems to care.

I've barely slept the last 2 nights after some hardcore Civ 5 and I can't be arsed either.
