[A] The Bláck Hand

Still going. I'm pretty much inactive now days with how much I'm working, and when I have time I'm far too tired to put it into WoW. But Blackfall is running the Hand in my absence. (She's a saint).

Running a lot of DM'ed events now days. Currently an on going plot with a Sea worshiping cult that seek to use Viserdict, to bring about destruction in nasty ways. And we're trying to stop them.

Will post some Screenies of recent events that I've actually managed to make it to.

During the Siege of Orgrimmar, obviously unable to help directly in the siege, the Hand seek to help in what way they can. Unable to complete the task at Hand alone, they call upon "allies" of substantial power an uneasy truce being formed under a common enemy.

Was fun lurking around the edges of the Alliance war effort, involved here and there, PvP and otherwise. Also since then we've done a very long plotline (a goodbye of sorts from an epic DM member) that's taken us from Ashenvale to Gilneas, overseas to Tol Barad and then Dustwallow Marsh over the course of 2-3 weeks. I had a -load- of fun with this; an unforgettable plot and characters and absolutely brutal combat. Really immersive, and sad to see the RPer who ran it leave *sniffle*

Going to be running both DM'd events in future... as well as a few, possibly periodic, public events of a less hostile nature that I'm brewing up. We'll be needing casters of all, and any, kinds. If you've got a character whose beliefs or goals line up with ours in any way, regardless of his or her methods or magic, give me a shout!

I'm guessing Cerik is referring to the early days of the Black Hand. To put it bluntly, it was a bunch of death knights being dark, edgy and two-dimensional while murdering each others alts and dropping the corpses from gryphons so that they'd end up public places so that people would care. A guild that just murdered people, basicly. That guild wouldn't be missed. It got better though, from what I heard.

And aye to Dwyburn. The original concept of the Hand was made to literally create RP. But the mix of enjoyment to not enjoyment was far to vast and it all got a bit out of control and disorganized, so I changed the concept. And the gryphon droppings is something that very much annoyed me, and was dealt with, but it left a fair bit of stigma. It's more of a Dark Druidic esc guild now in a sort of grey area.  Just reading the edited original post is enough to see the difference.

Anyhoo, Blackfall is mostly managing it now days due to me being to busy with RL. But she's got some great ideas, and she's an awesome person, so feel free to contact her.

Thanks to the Black Hand for populating Keel Harbor. Me and the rest of the Braves had a lot of fun hanging out in that shady town and trying to discern if all these shady folks would end up killing us, or if they where just shady because the town itself is shady, miserable and dangerous.

And thanks to Feral for playing the bartender. I could really drink in the atmosphere, it was great!

We're still there, still here, still doin' stuff. We have 3-4 plotlines running with regular events, and we're still in Keel Harbor fairly regularly for those looking for some shady outside-of-Stormwind RP.

This guild still active? Looking for a guild with dubious morals, and this is certainly the best match so far

We roleplay, but there's no events these days, activity has dropped off. We're in Duskwood at the moment, if you want to just roleplay at all, but in terms of active recruitment and the like I'd look for something more busy, truth be told!
