Defias Brotherhood offline?

So just recently i noticed i couldn't take on or off items so i decided to restart WoW. Upon logging in it says Defias Brotherhood is Offline? Could it have anything to do with the hackers that hacked Blizzard last night (or whenever it was). Anyways, have a good night everyone.

It's not just you, certainly.

I doubt it's the hack - more likely to be a side-effect of some security patch they're putting in to try to deal with potential after-effects of the hack.

It's because of the Mists of Pandaria pre-patch going online.

MoP pre-patch is only being downloaded, not applied yet.

Then what is it? I just heard it was something about the patch.

Each Battlegroup is a server. The Frenzy and Rampage Battlegroups seem to be the ones being used to push the patch data (no installer included yet). They finally remembered to send in the kick signal. Now they can either leave 2 battlegroups offline until P2P is at high data shares or share it through more and leave them laggy.

Also, with the MoP cinematic being presented in the coming days, i can give you 2 dates for patch install. August 21st or 28th. This is measured from previous pre patches.

No idea when it will come back up. My advice is to either go to another realm or do something else. DBH is closed for the night.
