This story reminded me of the few transsexuals on this realm, and how brave they are to face the social struggle of pursuing their dreams to become, or be, what they truly are.

Trent created a masterpiece. Trents version talks of a mans struggle in life, and what he is going to leave behind. Whereas Cash's version is the story of an old man who is nearing the end, looking back on his life and reliving all his regrets one last time, thinking of what hes left behind, and if he deserved to live so long.
Trent created the masterpiece. Cash immortalized it. Outstanding song.

Re: Tzeentch's Thread of Everchanging Topics
I'm not sure, but I think episode 10, the episode that just aired, is the season finale. Here's my fangasm.
- Spoiler:
- ZOMGWTFBBBQ Tenzin-Sama is my hero. What a badass. A family-man badass. Don't ever mess with a family man. Demons run when a good man goes to war. and all. This episode was just a non-stop flow of flame-hot pumping action circulating like...some hot thing trough an even hotter thing....It was hot. Sizzling.
It's a little wierd to see a character called General Iroh, supposedly the son of Zuko, with the voice of Zuko. Yeah. That kid did a great job in the original series, but this just feels wrong. It would be a little like if Tenzin was voiced by Aang's voice actor.
Anyhow, just when I was getting bored or Republic City, it looks like we're finally heading out. We had to pay a hefty price though. Some of the series' best action scenes have been courtesy of Lin Bei Fong, and she's just lost her bending. "That lady is my hero", indeed.
My general impression of this series so far is that, suprisingly, it is the adult characters that are by far the most interesting. I feel myself being much more involved with Tenzin and Lin than with any teen drama amongst the main kids. That's somethig the main series handled a little better, I guess, letting the adults stay in the background, rather than having them take centre stage and steal the spotlight from the, you know Avatar.
But who knows. We're nearing the halfway point of Korra, and with the motherfucking Army being introduced, I feel like we've just been scratching the surface. Here's hoping that our two traveling groups (Tenzin and family, team Korra) will show us some interesting locales. Show us the Fire Nation. Show us the Earth Kingdom. Perhaps a little trip to Ba Sing Se, even?
Fuck, I love this show.
End nerdspazm.

Re: Tzeentch's Thread of Everchanging Topics
When did we start discussing Korra, why am I missing out.
On #10, and maybe it´s just me, but this episode didn´t make much of the impact I thought it would. Not that some of the moments weren´t ace, but it felt more like a checklist of things and last minute introductions that needed to happen before they could open the fireworks bottle with the 1h finale next week. Not even mentioning the pacing issues the last couple episodes had.
Why'd they have to cram it into a 12 episode frame rather than the standard ~20 of AtLA D:
Nerding below.
- Spoiler:
- GODAMMIT LIN y u haev 2 be so roic ;.;
Sad as is, least Winzin didn't bite the debending bullet. Was going fucknodon'tbecaptured (like most of the cases when the adults were disabled) early in the episode before he reminded us what a bamf he is.
Disliked the bending kids section, was ace they did something, but the equalists standing around like tools and too much of a focus on Meelo's 'bending' kind of ruined the moment. Also, all the Makorra, ugh : ( Korrasami's meant to beeeee
There's some talk flying Iroh 2 is Zuko's grandson, which makes sense because he sees awefull young given the timeframe. I agree with the voice though, it was jarring in the blatant-didn't-really-think-this-through fanservice kind of way. Let's hope he's not a throw-away character that shows just during the finale. It's a little wierd to see a character called General Iroh, supposedly the son of Zuko, with the voice of Zuko. Yeah. That kid did a great job in the original series, but this just feels wrong. It would be a little like if Tenzin was voiced by Aang's voice actor.
Oh my god show the WW2 airplanes allready fsdfghasfgahsfdakand with the motherfucking Army being introduced
