World War Z was a really nice book. It's written in the form of a documentary.

I did enjoy WWZ it was interesting and well put together (I learnt that phrase from The Late Review, I use it when I try to sound clever).

There's a fair amount of politics in it, and some interesting ideas for what could happen. The problem is "people" (the generic type of "people" that don't really exist, probably, I hope) seem to think Solanum exists (I mean the Zombie-making compound/virus. Not the plant...).

I forget now if the film has been put on hold. But they were filming it in Glasgow. Which is pretty close to how the world would look after the shit hits the fan.

Still, it's definitely a "whaaaaaaaaaaaat" piece of news.
