Will the auctions be using real ingame gold? Since people can just bid forever otherwise. *Grabs the escaped Monrena and places her in a wifey cage* Got ya!

Realistically, most characters won't have much gold. So hopefully that doesn't occur.

I don't want to go as far as to make a chart, but no, it won't be real gold. However i'll ask people not to be idiotic..

Braiden Mistmantle could waste twenty gold on a diamond ring, a peasant would be working for about oh.. ten years to pay that off? If your character doesn't live in a manor, restrict yourself.

Thats a damn good idea, perhaps make up a ghi item gold or even a token that people have to purchase before it all starts. So a peasant has only a few tokens while a lord has bought a load. Very nice idea Very Happy *pokes Monrena with a stick while she sits in the cage*

I could put either Emiraude(pretty stormwinder) or Tanrala(dwarf) up for acution. Anaei/Vezullia, you can decide who would be better. Are there any dwarves yet? On the other hand, we are in human city so naturally there should be more human females, and Emi has half noble background, to add flavour.
*"I want mi free dinner!" Tanrala yells*
*"Oh, hush!" Emiraude blushes at her friend's actions*

EDIT: Yes, some pre-purchased Tokens would be good idea. And rule, that only one girl can be won through biding, so someone can't buy a harem. That way biding wont get out of hand, eat gold and some wont start biding for LOLs. Yes making the girl do serving is good idea. That way they are introduced in natural way.

I can just see this auction thing being hijacked by slavers and then a pursuit of the slavers as they make a break for their ship/portal/zeppelin with their newly aquired cargo...

You don't need to put someone in chains to kidnap them.

Because he can teach tanarisi orphan boys to cook for him.
