With all due respect to the Romans - they weren't good at seafaring, like at all. They could handle the Mediterranean quite well, but they never even managed to get a hang of the North Sea, for example.

Also, Lexgrad, did you know that all currently living humans share a common female ancestor whom we call Mitochondrial Eve? She's supposed to have lived 200k years ago... In Africa.

It's also important for you to have the latest version (1.07b) and the same checksum as others. Myself and Drefurion have XCSD (which is the standard checksum for vanilla 1.07b). If the checksums don't match then you can't play with each other.

Vanilla here being an unmodded version of Crusader Kings 2, not a version of Crusader Kings 2 without any DLC.

I think I'll join some game tomorrow, if there is one. Would also like to see if I can play as a Muslim while at least one person doesn't have sword of Islam. Would be awesome if that were possible.
