Why... is Major below Captain, and both below Lieutenant? O.o

I thought it was strange at first, but the ranks were ordered by an old member with a lot of knowledge of British military. I think it's British army ranks, as opposed to US which has lieutenant as a minor-ish rank. I don't know though, not much knowledge of it myself >_>

Odd. Modern British army ranks go by the following:

(Enlisted) Pte -> LCpl -> Cpl -> Sgt -> SSgt -> WO ranks
(Commissioned) 2Lt -> Lt -> Capt -> Maj -> Lt Col -> Col -> Brig -> General ranks

It's possible that your friend went with an older, historical rank structure, but I can't find any that fit with a quick search.

Drustai is right, that is the military ranking for both US and the British army, except your missing sergeant major tee hee ^^

Okay, we've looked into it, and we've fixed and simplified the ranking system: We've removed captain and major. We're also filling up all the ranks, and soon plan on doing some officer training to test the chain of command.
