You really shouldn't have put a date for this on the forum, as it'll now attract gankers.

Most Hordies are phased out of Gilneas. My rogue isn't, but that's cause I made sure she wasn't.

Even if it does, we'll be organized enough to repell it. We'll have half of Stormwind there, most of us are geared, one way or another due to activity outside RP and Transmog. I don't think we'll have any larger issues.

Anyway, anybody finds this fun and intresting, they should totally do it, not for me though.

That's because it is supposed to be lol-rp. The first few posts have made that very explicit. Trying to apply any IC logic to all of that would only confuse things needlessly. This wil just be mainly an excercise in sillyness, the way I see it.

I kinda agree with Gogol, That I dislike breaking continuity with my characters just for the sake of an event or a few laughs. not that I don't think we should have those laughs, but because its well hypocritical.

There are plenty of reasonable idea's to have far out events that are extremely entertaining and fun, that doesn't need to break continuity or fall in the realm of "Lol-RP" for which some of us scoff at vampire RPers, halflings, demon gods and the lost son of Jaina and thrall.

In TSS we've had a few out of reality events that didn't break continuitity and they've been a few of the best events there were.

In one a bastard warlock send over a cursed book as a present, and we were all drawn into it, having to find a way out.. and since it was a book anything could go.

In another we were pulled into the imagination of the a warlock, that tried to escape prison, and the disciples and stranders had to hop from dream to dream, finding themselves in the skins of different people, in different scenarios and escape the rabid mind of the warlock... which culminated in everyone being mindcontrolled and Amy standing in Jade-plate being married to the warlock by Fort..

but just saying: Its not canon! is a bit of a cop-out. and it makes us just the same as vampires.

I'm glad you don't see a problem with the fact that I'm voicing my opinion.

That being said, I'll roll with anything, really, as long as it allows me to introduce Thelozius Felglutton, the Eredar Lord with an unsatable lust for chaos and destruction.

since saying stuff like "well if you don't like it, just don't come" because I voice criticism in a forum thread.

i am very supprised that someone has said this lol go away o.O I suspect that peeps need to chill.. this is a let your hair down for the all serious normal rp.. bedsides.. if you try this random one off alternat reality day event.. you may find that you quite enjoy rp'ing as the polar oposite of your toon.. you just never know

As Thelos said, it -is- lolrp. It doesn't have anything to do with anything in the normal day RP while it still contains your character, albeit a very twisted form of your character, but your character regardless.

It's not that I'm simply too lazy to come up with a reasoning for it. It is more to the point that reasoning it just would make things confusing and people restricting themselves, therefor halting some of the more ridiculous natures that will attend.

I imagine a lot of character will end up dying to weird things, like mr.Demon Lord here or other such stuff and it simply wouldn't be fair on their characters outside of this event to have to take consequences for the events of this day.

The biggest reasoning behind this is honestly just to give people something different, give them some new experiances, try new waters. Maybe they'll find something interesting, and decide to run a new character that might be in a similar fashion.

I believe you're taking things a bit too seriously, and I don't get the feel that you've properly understood or possibly not read through the thread.

This'll be a different experiance for most people, and that is something important. This all could lead to events in the future, as people discover something new they want to continue to build on. It can help enhance our daily RP a little, and give people a broader view of things.

I can't really see anything bad about this event, I believe it will genuinely aid the community, perhaps not in a large scale, but the little bits help a lot in the long run- and it is necessary for people to have new experiences to keep things feeling fresh.
That way people will be more willing to get together.

I just think it will be a blast. It'll be weird yet hilarious to have Cyndryn hug bunnies and love humans. My birthday falls onto April Fools though, so does that mean nobody gets to buy me presents because on opposite day it is -not- my birthday?!
