Spring fair 15th of April 2012

Idea is this: We, The Holy Lightbringers, arrange this fair during spring in Goldshire, Elwyn forrest. Sunday, 15th of April, from 17 Bells onward, server time. Remember to sign up for the activities, or at least to those that NEED sign up
And no fear, activies wont happen simultaniously but one after another.

1. Miss Holy Light-contest: only 10 female players could partisipate in this. The Char must belive in the Light. There would be "stage walk"+ personal introduction, publics favorite girl(public votes), questions about Holy Light (Maelmoor gives points), cooking for the poor(/roll), healing(herbal/holy/first aid) (/roll). The one, who has gotten most point per task (2 task rolled, 2 task pointed), would be the winner and become fairs "Miss Holy Light". As a such, she would help with other events and give a hug/kiss to the winners (DO NOT attend, if you are not ready to do this). This would be held in the clearing, near Goldshire.
2.Fishing contest: All can attend. It's held near Smith's workshop, by the lil bond behind it. Everyone Fish and type /roll. The one who rolls highest, has caught bigest fish and is the winner(remember to fish the fish too ).
3. Pet-show: all can attend. At the clearing. Call your companion(what you can find in RL for pet, noting too excotic, please) forth. There's obediance tests, like sit, follow... after each roll, least points rolled contestant leaves, untill there's the most obidient pet=the winner.
4. Toy fight at the clearing. First 10 can attend. Done in pairs. Summon your toy(toy from vedors or toy looking companion or such) and FIGHT. Roll to get the outcome, the one from the each pair who rolls biger number then partner, wins. This goes on, until there's a champion.
5.Archer contest: All can attend. Behind the smithy, there's the archery target. Shoot 3 times and roll. One who has most points after 3 roll, wins.

Other stuff: Cheering the contestants, flying kites, dancing, fireworks, throwing a ball in a ring...

Fantastic idea. I'll try and be there in some form or another.

Miss Holy Light sounds kinda weird.

Don't take it as much as modern like miss-contest, more like how we find cheery, up beat hostes and rolemodel for the fair. Like some small town thingy. And do notice, unlike in modern beauty-padgent shows, there's no swimm- or eveningown round and contestants are not ranked by their looks... well... public can vote how they like, be it looks, race, guild, religion or what ever.

Well, people haven't signed up much, so I open The toy fight for "first come, first served" policy. There will still be only 10 spots. Of course you can still sign up, to reserv a spot.

Miss Holy Light will still need sign up.

Well I would love to attend this with monrena but sadly I dought she will be releaced from house arrest in time and I think I sadly am working that night in question. So sadly I cannot attend. But I wish this event all the best. If things change and I can attend. Miss holy light app will be sent

This is not a problem, you can assume you can get a pardon to attend an event. We wouldn't want to limit your rp opportunities, Mon.

And if RL's proving hard, I would like to remind, this even starts at 17 and Miss Holylight is first contest to start the fair . If you are afraid of winning the title and, that from RL reason, you would have to log off before all the cotests end and you finish your Miss Holylight-duties, I'm sure that either I or Phaedria can step in as your runer up

How ever it goes, you signing up or not, thank you for your intrest. *comfort hugs* And if not, maybe there's the next year.

I could always bring my holy-ho as well? Would be a shame to turn it into a draenei-fest though. And she's rather dull and boring to play >_>

My Ushindani is a Draenei priest. But she's not really often played so, you know what? Nevermind.

what about the vanity pet? considering the mec squirel does have a squirrels brain in it thus making it almost a true animal?

Mech squirrel, that looks mech or toy, goes to ToyFight.
a)Because this is mainly fantasy world, not scifi
b) I do not want to think all the problematics that go toward cyborgs, too excotic pets, fantasy pets AND pets that could be more inteligent then their actual owner. So, no Dragon whelps or gryphon hatslings, just normal pets you could find from RL petshop (hampster-cat--dog-parrot-turttle ect.). And Mech is considered as a toy, cyborg or not.
c) and even if this is fantasy world, I want to keep some kind of sence of realism. Every normal townpeople wouldn't have mega dragon as a pet. I think they have kitty cats and puppies, just like we.
