That beard is just there to make Velen look cooler and give him something unique other draenei can't have. You know, to visually differentiate him as an important character.

No date issued, they will process all of the 4000 questions they received, work them through the devs, lore writers and Metzen before giving anything, so we will probably know when they release them.
