Horde rp'ers? Empty Horde rp'ers?

Post by Guest Sun Feb 05, 2012 9:01 am

I may be missing them, but where are the horde rp'ers? Seems woefully few posts from the red-side on this forum, is there a Horde rp forum someplace that I've missed?

Check your usergroups. Can you see the Horde subforums?
Apart from that there are just generally more Alliance players around.

Yes I can see but they are listed by race, which isn't a huge amount of help for multi-racial guilds.

I guess there is just more Alliance active on this forum as I am pretty sure there are more Horde rp guilds than those active here.

Well, the Horde never really got that active on the forum. Why? I really don't know.
It's a sad fact.

Quite early there was mostly just drama from alliance side here (sorry but sorta truthfull you guys!) which made many horde leave I believe.

Most of the early horde member departures I remember was due to spamming and a few of them fighting amongst themselves.

Not a lot of Hordies on here! I try to direct people here, but they tend to get a bit confused with the whole sign up process, as do many of the Alliance that I've sent this way. I myself had an account for a few months before I actually got to the 'vouching' part. It wasn't all that clear. xD

Lies.

But as a whole, I suppose there are less forum dwellers on Horde, or perhaps just less people as a whole. I know some view it as very alliance, which makes them unwilling to commit to it, which makes it more alliance.. and so forth.

This.
I'm sure more roleplayers would want to join these forums, but at the moment the process of getting in is just too damn difficult. Some might register, but they won't bother to make an application because they either don't know that they need to make an application, and/or think the frontpage is all there is. The layout is not very user friendly Razz

I do have to agree. Every guildie I point this way I'm careful to point out that they apply and then post an application, for which I can vouch to try and get them full access.

A lot of people like to lurk too, perhaps we can make some of the more open parts open to all as read-only? Such as the Library or the groups perhaps? Get them hooked into the things here so they want to do the full application!

We're here, but i think what Morgeth said pretty much sums it up. There's a LOT more alliance based discussions here than of the horde as a proof.

Indeed, the forum is rather Alliance-focused. Sadly though, the only way to remedy that, is to get more active Hordes in here. And that doesn't seem to happen, considering how Alliance-focused the forum is. Sooo, yeah. Vicious circle there..

But there are some of us!

No, the true problem is that unlike the alliance which relies on hubs. The Horde on Db' Rely on Guilds. Racial specific guilds such as orcs of the red blade, Second gurubashi empire, Cult of shadows, Darkspear, sin belore... i could go on. We have few large or truelly 'open' fully horde alligned multi-racial guilds. And whats more, without central hubs and having very suspicious isolationist ways, The Horde is somewhat hindered in terms of making dense RP hubs.

Thats my 2 cents.

It's true! All Horde players are extremely sexy and generally nice people IRL. The Alliance are like "the ugly friends" with every 1 good looking girl they have at least 2 ugly friends. So, statistics show that with every 1 good looking Horde Roleplayer there are 2 ugly ones who rolled Alliance, you can't deny science my friend.

But you're right aswell, problem is with Horde side Blizzard didn't really give us anything half decent that we can use as hubs.

It was your smell that drove them out.

Morinth is generally drunk, she can't smell you.

Ever since I came to this forum I have been wishing for a seperated sections for Alliance posts and Horde posts so that I could skip all the million alliance event proposals and other stuffs that doesn't really intereste me at all. I think if the main page of the forum was divided to alliance and horde then we hordelings would have to do some work to fill our own board to not look so pathetic. But now every time I come here I just get overwhelmed with all the alliance this and that and logout. Horde forever!!!

Indeed, we hordies are both crafty and sneaky, especially when it comes to events.
