Nyuk nyuk, go have fun in one of the spam topics then.
Guldu's tavern was a nice little hub while it lasted. Guess there's not anything like it at the moment?

I have to say.. It is kinda odd on Horde side, i only now get the guild thing. And come to appreciate the ally Hub thing
Oh and maybe cause i can't spy people on the TRP map.

Considering you're a belf, too. That ^ only proves the isolation.

Horde RP is only guild limited cause you LET it be. I have no problems wandering around getting myself RP. I RP in Orgrimmar regularly with strangers. I very rarely enter Sillyspoon cause it's such a LOLfest and I still get plenty RP. xD When I am in SMC, it's just in passing to RP in Eversong.

SMC RP is only a LOLfest if you let it be (and stay out of the Bizarre)
Valley of Honor, Bildgewater Harbor and Ratchet are all good locations though. USE THEM

I had to stop myself from having Morinth commit suicide when she sat on a bench and watched all the dragons and shit walk past. WHAT ARE HER PEOPLE BECOMING?!
And Bilgewater is LOVELY. Smelly takeouts litter the place, complete with buzzing flies. It's got so much character, and no one will come visit!

Sylvina wrote:Ever since I came to this forum I have been wishing for a seperated sections for Alliance posts and Horde posts so that I could skip all the million alliance event proposals and other stuffs that doesn't really intereste me at all. I think if the main page of the forum was divided to alliance and horde then we hordelings would have to do some work to fill our own board to not look so pathetic. But now every time I come here I just get overwhelmed with all the alliance this and that and logout. Horde forever!!!
I kinda agree, I find it very hard to pick out any Horde related stuff in both events and Library etc. To encourage us Horders, could really do with a bit of organisation so we can skip the Alliance stuff which means diddly-squat to me Horde side (unless I want to come and sap).

We have demons now too... >.<
Not to mention the occasional San'layn (lolwat?) and high elves
And no, before someone asks, trying to guide these poor misguided souls into more acceptable RP is not really working unless one is prepared to be insulted and/or ignored. "IMMA DRAGON, UR NOT MY MOM! DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!"

I have... missed a lot since I stopped going there. It's been months since I've RP'd in SMC, literally. x)

Re: Horde rp'ers?
I find Silvermoon a nice place for a bit of random social rp at the end of an evening of hunting. My main isn't one to hold back with the sarcasm so I can laugh off most of the lame rp'ers IC'ly.
Vilmer does a good job of running the bar and although I wouldn't spend an entire evening in the City, it's a change to drop by.

Anyone remember Novany and the Duskblood? Mwahahahaha. So horrible. She turned into a DK at midnight. They claimed to have killed C'thun and taken all his treasures. Her noble house and their SERVANTS, not trained soldiers, SERVANTS, killed C'thun.
Man.. That was so bad.

Oh dear god please don't remind me. They made me chuckle at their fail. Some of them turned out to be good Roleplayers, I think they needed guidance or something and they picked it up from the wrong place at the start. Rasonal was one then he linked up with my Dad and became awesome.

My god, what a gossipfest this has become. xD
I just play along with it, and see if I can get some interesting RP out of it, or create it myself, after all. I can't send Aishling to some other place now, can I?

Re: Horde rp'ers?
The thing is that if most people were to acknowledge all the dragons, demons, dark rangers, high elves, vampires and whatnot ICly, they'd have to bend their character to accept them.
Most of the above would simply be killed on sight no questions asked, or be booted from the city.
As Nessra mentioned above, approaching these people with anything but "WHAT A UNIQUE CONCEPT! HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THAT? YOU'RE AWESOME!" inevitably ends up with a torrent of abuse coming your way, so the choice is to either bending your character to conform to their silly concepts, or to ignore them. I go with the last.

Exactly. I remember "countering" a dragon player one day by holding this whole rant IC about how my character doesn't believe in dragons, battling their madness with my own.
It was hilarious. Black Dragonwhelp my ass, bitch.

Re: Horde rp'ers?
I just wish they would make a Horde city which was suitable for RP.
Org is too cramped, Silvermoon is too glittery for most races, Undercity only suits undead and I suppose TBluff is alright
