Well. It does depend on how fast the word would get out. Of course, they'd want to tell their people to give them peace of mind, but for the Alliance, the Goverment would likely with-hold the tale, or at least dilute it, due to the Archbishop's Role. I can see why they would want to keep that quiet, as the Light is a massive part of Human Society. Finding out that the very mortal representation of that Light, so to speak, was secretly serving a hentai tentacle-monster, would likely devestate the community and even start some discord and uprisings.
But I'd say word has got out, yes, of course.
