So yeah, thoughts, opinions?

I have to say these instances do like quite ace, especially the Well of Eternity one, however the fact that I have to constantly repeat them to get epic gems annoys me.

I think LFR is a bad idea totally, further dumbing raiding and making killing a enemy alot less special, no tier from valor is a great idea, and the rogue legendary is very unnessacary. We also finally see Archbishop Bennedictus go all evil, wahey.

Bah, beat me by 5 minutes. I think my thread title was better though.

The pure black dragon questline continuation being a rogue exclusive sucks, especially with 10-man raiding being so prevalent now since many of them may not even have a rogue raiding with them.

The End of Time dungeon looks interesting though. The fact that even in the future where Deathwing wins, he still ends up impaled on the Wyrmrest Temple while the infinite dragonflight goes on to rule the lands is quite chilling.

I like the idea of that, and this seems like a great change, since we usually kill the bad guys before they leave their house to start wreaking havoc, almost like a cartoon. I think it will be fun to play through and see what they would actually do to Azeroth.

Taking the Dragon Soul.. -again- from the past, bringing it to the present.. seriously? Are they that dumb. This means the red dragonflight would still be enslaved by the orcs, all of the dragonflights would still be in a weakened state, Deathwing would of killed them all by now, Rhonin wouldn't of destroyed the Dragon Soul and save the day.. Anyone else read War of the Ancients and Night of the Dragon?

Also now we will probably see a third version of the War of the Ancients timeline, this time though the whole 10,000 year old ongoing event with Deathwing will be obsolete. Blizzard should of never created a time travelling Dragonflight if they can't manage it.

Am i the only one thinking dragonblight started looking like it had been invaded by the zerg : /

Not necessarily.

Time travel is funky like that. You could easily take the Dragon Soul out of the past into the future, use it in the future, then bring it back to the past at some point. The key point is that we do need to return the Dragon Soul into the past so that it can continue to play its appropriate role in the time stream.


The main thing that bugs me is, of course, World-Shaman's prevalence in the events (yay, another escort Thrall dungeon -.-) and the absolute fail that is evil Benedictus.

End of Time and Well of Eternity do look like fun, though.

Simple. it's rogues turn for a legendary, although I find the rogue class only thing a bit funky.

Two legendaries. Now now, don't be mean. Not like rogues can use two-handers.

I do however find it lulzy that they need to give a Sunwell-ish buff to melee to keep up.

And that aint the fckin Well of Eternity. There's supposed to be a temple around that shit!

There are some ruins at the edge of the well of eternity (i think it is atleast) in the last picture.
Maybe the temple imploded.


Also, going to be nice to see "fresh" Highborne architecture.

That a new model, or does the new dress just throw me off?

The WotA itself area looks pretty underwhelming tbh. Always imagnined it as.. far more grandiose. But eh, WoW engine plus time contraint I guess.

I know but there is no mention of returning the dragon soul. I've always wanted to play WotA though and I suppose that could have never been done without time travel. I always thought it would be an expansion though.

Why the hell is Deathwing dead in the End of Time thing? Sense it makes none.

Because surviving the endtimes as a servant pawn of nihilistic gods of utter chaos is one's god given right. Clearly.

I still think this patch is gonna 'OMGROFLPWN' all the others! *nod*

It looks pretty good, and the instances look pretty ace as well. This was the case with the five mans that led up to Icecrown as well, decent instances with some pieces of gear that'll get you at least to the level needed to enter Firelands without much previous raiding. Well, perhaps.

Just have to hope none of it was rushed.

I'm just glad this patch gives us Transmogrification, or I would explode with nerdrage.

Now I'm merely strongly irritated. With nerdrage.

I'm very concerned that PvP isn't even mentioned. I just hope that it is due to that new instances makes prettier screen shots than tweaking pvp balance...
