[A-RP] Legion's Hand

Whispers spread and flow through Lakeshire like a Plague, the quaint, once-peaceful town filled with hushed, anxious whispers of townsfolk vanishing, Hunters and Merchants heading into the hills, never to return, their bodies, twisted and mutilated by Fel, found a few days later on the outskirts of the town. Mothers hide away their children, Merchants and Travellers to their best to steer clear of the town, a dark, malefic shadow is cast over Redridge.
At Night, Fel-Green Light can be seen dancing within the ruins of Stonewatch Keep, and undiscernable, yet nevertheless sinister cries that hurt the ears to hear can be heard ringing out from within the Keep, over the town.

Dark Days indeed.

Out of Character Information

Legion's Hand is a small, Cultist Guild operating on Defias Brotherhood EU, Alliance side. IC'ly, We are focused around worshipping the Burning Legion, as some form of mild extention to the Shadow Council. We operate largely in Redridge Mountains and Ironforge though events may take us to Fel-Tainted places such as Felwood, Blasted Lands, etc.

1. Joining:

We take any race, save Draenei and Night Elves. No exceptions.
We take all classes, apart from Druids, Paladins and Priests (With the exception of Shadow Priests).
If you are interested in joining us, poke me in game, and we'll ask you a couple OOC questions, followed up by your character having an IC run-in with the Hand.
The Hand, while still being a Legion-Worshipping Cult, takes the alias of the 'Ironforge Alchemists Union', a simple Guild of potionmakers operating in Ironforge. We do this as to better root ourselves within society, and as such, get closer to influential, and corruptable people. Unwitting Alchemists whom come to enlist with the Guild are usually drugged into fanaticism, otherwise brainwashed, or they have always had such dark desires buried within their mind. As such, members must have a 'Fake name' to use in place of their real one, for the Union, and, during Cultist-related events, wear a hood or something to obscure their visage, to keep their face and real identity, which could easily be linked to the Union, easily.
For most Cultist-Related events the Hand goes afar, frequently to Redridge, specifically Stonewatch Keep, where they once based all of their operations in.

Who can Join?

1) Level 10 is the minimum level to join.
2) A good knowledge of the English Language is required. The Guild Chat is OOC, but there is an absolute -no- Leetspeak rule, prohibiting such phrases as 'Lol', 'gz', etc, to promote good English in general. Perfect Grammar and Spelling, while not absolutely required, is heavily advised.
3) GHI is required, as our 'Holy Book', the Ered'Nash Man'ari, a core part of the Cult's Religious Side, is written using that particular addon.
4) While in the Guild, members must remember that their actions are the reputation of the Guild to the Public. As such, anyone found to have harrassed others OOC'ly, lollers, etc, will instantly be removed from the Guild once discovered.
5) Is not any of the forbidden races/classes mentioned above.


2. Ranks:

The Grand Occultist - Spiritual Leader of the Hand.

High Warlock - The Grand Occultist's 'Right Hand' so to speak, usually in charge of breaking in new recruits.

Devotees - The elite, hardy, trustworthy veterans of the Hand's ranks, whom have proven their mettle.

Acolyte - Trusted, and Devout members of the Cult, however due to other factors cannot become full Neophytes.

Cultist - Only just accepted into the Guild, young, with much to learn.

Neophyte - Initiates to the Cult, on their week-long trial period.


3. Weekly Events and Functions:

Every Friday, at around 8:00PM Realmtime, we host an hour-long (Usually) Sermon to the Burning Legion.

More such weekly events may come in time, as the Guild Grows.

After much deliberation, we have decided to open the Guild to non-Warlocks, on the obvious grounds that they worship the Legion. There are, of course, a few exceptions:

We will take no Draenei or Night Elves under –any- circumstances.
We accept all classes, save Paladins, Druids and Priests (With the exception of Shadow Priests).
