So like, I just got my second virus in the last two weeks. This is getting ridiculous. Got lucky and managed to do a system restore to fix it.

Anyone know of a good free Antivirus program?

I've manged to float years at a time without getting computer destroying viruses when unprotected. Bad luck right there for you Dru o.o

So have I, Muz. I've gone free of anti-virus programs for as long as I've used a computer. The few times I have gotten virus (once a year or two, typically) I've usually been able to get rid of them manually, since my shitty connection allows me to easily identify when I get them (sudden spike in data use for no reason).

Lately it's been getting more and more frequent though. So I'm throwing in the towel and finally going to get an anti-virus program.

Get Nod32 or something from eset. They are great and cheap. (compared with like norton etc)

I take saturday courses for Math C.
(I wouldn't take them if it wasn't for the fact that I need the points to graduate and that I despise math)
On the course, there's ~15 more people that are of the ages 17-19. These people.. just.. why.. these people can't comprehend the meaning of the simplest parts of math that was in the B course.

These are the sort of things they sit and go "Durrrrrrrrr, y iz dat thin dere? I cnt undrzstnd!";

Those who have taken math courses understand that the "crocodile maw" means "Bigger than" or "Lesser than". SO WHY CAN'T THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND?!

I literally have about 5 fat neckbeard immigrants (literally neckbeard) that keeps asking stupid fucking questions. And no, don't say "There's no stupid questions, only stupid answers", THESE questions are fucking stupid, when the teacher already explained in a very plain and simple way WHAT the things he writes on the whiteboard means. AND THEY STILL DON'T GET IT! WHY?! I JUST CAN'T FUCKING SEE IT. HOW CAN YOU FAIL TO COMPREHEND THE THINGS THAT HE SAYS?! ME, WHO'S ABSOLUTELY SHIT AT MATH, ANSWERS THE TEACHERS QUESTIONS AND SOLVES THE MATHEMATICS HE WRITES ON THE WHITEBOARD. I never usually do that when it comes to Math, cause I have a high problem with the "Problem solving"-questions.

I went to this course to get a grade and get the fuck out, but it's fucking impossible when these retards delays the lesson by 20 minutes (Of a 90 minute lesson). HOW CAN I GET ANYTHING DONE IN THE CLASS WHEN THE TEACHER IS TOO BUSY EXPLAINING THE PQ-formula TO THESE RETARDS RATHER THAN GOING ON WITH THE LESSON?!

And if that wasn't enough, them delaying the lesson almost made me miss the bus home. Yeah, might not sound so bad. But, I don't like the idea of having to stand for about 20 minutes until the next bus arrive in the -19 C morning chill with the wind blowing.
I had to run to the damn bus, cause I knew it was going to leave any moment. When I was ~10 meters away from the bus, it starts moving. I run towards it and wave my arms like a maniac and the busdriver stops (Thank fuck for that). I go on the bus and say "Thanks for waiting." and the busdriver responds with "Anytime, bro, no-one should stand outside and freeze their balls off in this weather". He's a pretty cool guy, about early thirties, dreads, a bit of a raggae feel with him. I pay him and walk towards the seats. And of course, there's these ~15 year old teens giggling at me. They say "Why did you say 'Thank you?'". I already had a shitty morning so I was in a bad mood as all hell. I respond with a pissed off glare and a pissed off tone "I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of freezing for 20 minutes and I was very happy that he stopped. If you don't have any manners and want to look like a selfish asshole for the rest of your lives, be my guest, but I'll show gratitude to those who deserve it wether you like it or not." And I walk backwards to the far end of the bus, wanting to get as far away from them as possible, muttering and sitting down to listen to music.

End rant.

Translating from Swedish --> English is hard.

Edit: Also, in other news, it's cold as fuck. -19 C every morning and it only goes to about -15 during the middays (depending if the sun is out or not).

The worst part is going downtown to the pub on a friday night, only to encounter those sort of teens on the bus. They sit in the back, on the four seater (There's six of them, two are always sitting on another ones lap) and they are drinking a can of beer. It's a small one, 33 cl, Pripps Blå Im think it was. They are giggling and talking very loudly, slurring and appears to be drunk. I just facepalm and tries to ignore them. A few stations before me and my pals will jump off the bus, the girls gets off. They walk towards the exit of the bus, giggling and staggering as they do such. Im just waiting until they are off before I can't hold my laughter. Soon after that, my pal stands up and goes towards where they sat. He picks up the can and goes;
"Dude.. It's half-full.. and it's a 2.5%.." They were sharing that can btw.
Either they were acting drunk, thinking they were drunk or were actually drunk from a sip of a 2.5% half-warm beer. I just go "wat o_o" before we all start laughing.

I don't even know if you -can- get drunk on that low alcohol. I've tried it, I threw up due to too many of those beers. I didn't even get a feeling of drunkness, I didn't even feel tipsy. Argh, why, evolution..

I would switch class, but this is the only class that goes on saturdays. The time is horrid too, the lesson starts at 08:30. It's either be there or take a class during the summer, and there's NO fucking way Im taking it during the summer.

My visits to Leeds have rarely involved people that "smell like wet butt". Mostly uni folk in ridiculous fancy dress everywhere.

It's still not a ~4 hour train from Aviemore to Edinburgh with an entire carriagefull of intoxicated football (soccer) fans screaming at everyone on the train. The conductors even started slowly herding "normal" people onto other carriages as seats became available.
I think those goons got arrested when they got off though, saw the police take them away.
