Water's the way to go. I get that when I drink too little water.

I constantly feel dizzy when I stand up too fast, have done for years. Razz But when I'm dehydrated and ill, water helps me out. :> Irn Bru is a good tonic too, but that's only for us Scots. Wink

I forgot how awesome Aquarius tasted. It truly is the piss of gods.

it really goes better now. I usually drink well up to the daily requirements.. not sure why this happened. Maybe low blood pressure level :s

I think the theory is that because of modern science, you don't need big strong jaws to eat.

Not sure if evolution works like that, since big jaw and small jaw genes should have equal chance to be passed on, only depending on how attractive big and small jaws are.

My father's active in that sector and I vaguely remember him once talking about wisdom teeth and a process of 'devolution'. In essence what it came down to is that our current way of life no longer necessitates them which ensures that a part of the population (35% according to wiki) no longer develop them. I don't know how big jaws and small jaws relate to it but I figured this was relevant to the discussion.

It's also why some are born without nails on some toes/fingers. Don't need them anymore.

Also why it's popular to show very futuristic humans as bald, you don't need hair.

But as long as the people with smaller jaws aren't the only ones surviving, jaws won't get smaller overall, right?

I only have very basic knowledge of evolution, so that what I said is probably wrong.

If it makes no difference if you have a big jaw or a small jaw, the ratio should stay the same more or less, depending on what way mutations take us.

Unless bigger/smaller jaws become a beauty ideal which yield a bigger chance to procreate.

It would have to be a constant ideal over several centuries if there is to be a noticable effect I think.

Ya apparently our jaws were much bigger back when we mostly used to just eat leaves. Our jaws got smaller as our appendix did too, I think.

But I don't think that means we're going to lose our wisdom teeth anytime soon

are you implying that the cause of my aching jaw is not, as i suggested, roast turkey and potatoes, but homosexual activity?

because you'd be correct.
